The intro and outro is actually octave chords, the middle string of the power chord is muted, its a subtle difference but you can tell

He did good on the guitar part except for a few mistakes and the tone being off. But he shouldn't call it a cover when it's not. The kids got potential but he needs more practice... like learn the guitar part, then start humming the vocals, then start singing them. In no time you'll be jumping around.

It is not actually a Fender, it has Fender pickups and bridge but it has various other parts, I built it when I was learning about them, hence the silver and pink.

And I agree, Punk Rock is by far the most fun, especially NOFX!

If you look closely at the title, it actually says '(guitar cover)'.

That might have something to do with it!

And as for it's purpose, well it's a demonstration of myself playing a song by NOFX, which can be used as guidance for other people who may be struggling with it.

Dude quick comment - instead of playing 5th Chords in the last segment of the song, play the "lead" guitar line playing octaves instead (i.e. remove the 5th from each note)

Cheers man. Not using much effects just the distortion from my Korg AX3000G pedal. I recorded everything seperatly and put it together. Starting with the song which I played while listening to the song in headphones, then did the video as a mime and stuck the original over the top.
