Also the way she was talking about Sammy davis jr and how he endured a lot of hatred and ignorance from whites as well as his own people seems as if she still had a lil bit of remorse from her previous soul train apperance in 89 when she was booed by her own people, cause it took her a while to get over that....

it wasn't the bodyguard tour she had a problem b4 that but she feared surgery b/c she thought it might damage her voice. i don't think she ever did go through with the surgery but "THE VOICE" lives on

What sweet revenge the awards and sales of The Bodyguard Whitney had. It was sweet vindication since she had low sales of her album I'm Your Baby Tonight released in the same year that Mariah Carey had her debut album which outsold that of Whitney's. During TB Era, Whitney trumpled every diva in the awards including Mariah & Madonna!!!
