There is so much soul and feeling in every word he sings. Wow! The control and strength of his power is amazing. Jimmy is one of my heroes. It is nice to have such power on the good side!
I was told to go to Youtube to hear a singer name Jimmy Demeres from a friend of mine at NYU and for someone who has never been on Youtube, I was floored by his voice. Where is this guy singing live?
What ignorant? Yes, he is a very competent singer -- but that is certainly a legitimate criticism. By doing that, he loses the tune. It's a little bit of cheap showmanship -- this guy is talented enough to make the song his own without having to wring something out of every vowel for goshsakes!
what is your background? are you even remotely qualified? why defend a moron? Let me break it down for you-there is something called vocal control which you are apparently unaware of. Jimmy has been around a lot longer than Clay Aiken so to use Clay as a reference is poor.
It is funny how people with very little background and no experience comment ike buffoons-you do not know enough about this business to make a valid comment.
Meh, this is not an industry message board and no one needs "qualifications" to make a remark! If the guy's holdin' a note too long -- he's holdin' a note too long. Go back, listen again, and keep your cheap shots to yourself. If you disagree, say so, but heaven forbid someone should call YOU a name too!
And I'll spare everyone my own music resume, but years ago I DID sing this song, many times, as part of a choir. Again, Jimmy's voice is fine, no complaint -- just don't like his choice to extend those notes. If it feels wrong, it doesn't matter what kind of vocal control he uses to do it.
Awesome !

Yeah, excellent singer, but a little annoying holding the notes so long in a Clay Aiken fashion.
