About your sensitivty problems, get a 1/8 headphone splitter with DOUBLE volume control.

What is ends up doing is controlling the sensitivity of the pedal. The one I have is GigaWare one from RadioShack for $5.

I hate the pedal personally. Actually im not fond of the drum kit :/ The problem is the bass pedal DOES NOT STAY STILL! I have to keep pausing the song and moving the pedal back to where i want it to be. And secondly, the orange symbal has lost ALL connectivity with the kit and doesnt work at all. Ive only had it 4 days!!
