  • i love seeing them with their children - they look so happy :)

  • Am I the only one who is watching this and who wasn't born when he died?

  • Such a wonderful video! What a warm man. RIP JFK even though I wasn't even born when you died.

  • America died on november 22, 1963

  • The last true leader...R.I.P. JFK

  • @jfkjacqueline I'll go along with that Rx

  • I sometimes fantasize that I'm friends with the young Jack, being cool and wearing sunglasses and ALWAYS on the water with plenty of woman around and good friends and, yeah, we have responsibilities, but not for like 6 more years so lets just have tons of fun. We are Kings of the world! Then I wake up :D

  • Did he fly all the way on Marine one? thats a long flight from washington D.C. if he did.

  • @Drpepperman1885 No he flew Air Force One to Boston and flew Marine One into the compund.

  • It's so sad, to know what might have been, the world would have been a much better world, had Kennedy not been assassinated. Great films, they're great, and everytime you view them, you always get the feeling you're there.

  • This is a great film, and I am only 24 years old, and I wasn't alive when Kennedy was president, or when he was assassinated, I am so proud to have him as my hero. President Kennedy will always be my hero. These images of the Kennedy family is great, because they liked to be together, and get away from all the difficult times. They enjoyed going sailing, and playing golf. Very great, and very emotional, sometimes I am happy to see this, and a little bit of tears.

  • AMERICAN ROYALTY

i hate when people try to compare the Bush's to them

  • more than anything the promise of that young boy whose life was cut short before he even had a chance to do any good, and suffered having his father taken from him so young, the tragedy that is jfk jr breaks my heart. may god give us another who is finally able to overcome and conquer america's enemies within that have robbed us of good presidents, and enslaved us in crypto-tyranny! god bless jfk, jfk jr, and god save america!

  • If Kennedy lived, Vietnam wouldn't have happened. NSAM 263 would have withdrawn all US Military Advisors in South Vietnam by either 64, 65, or 66. But when Jack was assassinated, Johnson, instead of withdrawing the advisors, started sending MORE of them instead. And then soon enough, he sent COMBAT UNITS to Nam. It was Johnson's fault. It was solely JFK's belief, that South 'Nam, had to fight it's "own war".

  • -'s going on before you actually look into it.

  • Also SnickleFritz, next time, before you post things that make you look like a fucking retarded piece of shit, please research. I hate people like you, people who post that are completely untrue and full of bullshit. Please shut the hell up before you post stupid things. Or, please use your tiny brain for once. And by the way, Jack did not cheat on Jackie. For Christ's sake, stop reading that Judith bitch's book. It's a fake, made only for money.

RESEARCH first guys. Don't think you know what

  • @SnickleFriyz: Who said he was the best? He's regarded as a great president, not the best. On the polls, JFK is usually ranked 2nd-4th best president of all time. Usually third, falling behind Washington and Lincoln. And also, Vietnam wasn't his fault. He enacted a NSAM 263, which would start withdrawing the military advisors from 'Nam. Kennedy did not want to send troops to Vietnam. It was Johnson who escalated the conflict.

  • I feel bad for JFK...

  • John Jr is so adorable, little outgoing boy! :)

  • 2:44 who that man wit john jr h\

  • i remember michael kennedy at st paul's he was a dick

  • Proclaiming JFK the best president ever is quite far fetched and arguable. What exactly did the man do except get us into a war in Vietnam, almost into a nuclear war with the USSR, and also, he cheated on his wife with Marilyn.

It is a shame that Jefferson, Lincoln, and FDR always get overlooked by historians and always stress the miniscule accomplishments of JFK. Because rightly, those three presidents did a hell of a lot more for the nation than JFK ever did.

  • @SnickleFritz79 well of course people are gonna say he's the best because he's more recent. most people aren't gonna go back a hundred years.

  • the greatest president of all-time.

  • @romegenerals yes..he got into a lot of pussy...fuck them all i say....lol

  • @romegenerals As I said, Obama should have learned from Kennedy what it means to be a real Democrat.

  • @Jantv81 Remember though, the media was VERY different fifty years ago.

  • The Kennedy's led the American Dream but were reportedly "cursed". So does that mean the good life comes at a price?

  • @PepsiGurl93 i know i think it does

  • Great book Ted kennedy: The Early Years at amazon!

  • Thanks for posting...............so special, I doubt most Americans have ever seen alot of this footage. Thank goodness we have these special moments on film since so many in it are now gone.

  • I'm sorry but, the last part of this video where JFK is being interviewed by Cronkite took place at a home Kennedy rented on nearby Squaw island. This was done for two reasons, The "Kennedy compound" home was not large enough for news crews and White House staff and, the US Secret Service thought the island location was a better spot for protection.

The home he rented was called "Brambletyde", and was owed by Louis Thun. The previous summer, they rented the home of Morton Downey.

  • Thanks!

  • can anyone tell me the music? i absolutely love it!

  • lol someone here is clicking thumbs down for everything. So lame

  • That is so funny and cute all those kids on that golf cart.
