  • Damn, look at the chef frying the rice...... brother got some skills!

  • 2:33 = yes, yes it is. ;)

  • 6:41 - chinese seasoning = msg?

  • @jsiszero not really. msg was made by the japanese. real chinese dishes don't need msg. only crappy shortcut chinese cooking wannabe use those as a shortcut.

  • i love cooking shows

  • GEEZUS I NEVER HAD A LOBSTER BEFORE IN MY LIFE!!!!

  • I bet that rice tasted soggy, rule number 1 of fried rice is that you make it with day old rice so that it doesn't become soggy.

  • @Qingy123 Doesn't have to be day old rice, just dry...you can under cook the rice and then fry it.

  • it must be torture for those camera men

  • i feel the challenger finished too early! the food will get cold in 30 mins!!

  • @idiragon

what you don't see is that post production they have four hours to produce exact replicas of their dishes so that all they judges may eat. none of it is served in any manner other than its intended one.

  • Fuku-san!

  • Sweet and Sour Lobster must be some kind of a pun in Japanese. They keep laughing at its mention.

  • ...did he say brains?

  • Sweet and sour? Really?.......

Thats such a cheap take away food.

  • I love how controlled and balanced his hands are. He flips the wok so effortlessly while cooking the rice. I tried doing that one time and the rice ended on the floor. hahaha =)

  • That has got to be Jeffrey Jones.=)

  • lol that kui-san guy is soo fuckin annoying..

hes like those people who keep asking questions.haha i like it

  • How did you get an English translation version?

  • The Fried Rice action is so addictive.

  • FOOOOKUSAN!!!

  • FUKUSAN! -WTF You scared the hell outta me!

  • That sweet and sour lobster looks freaking delicious....

  • seen the old guy that is at the table on another show think it was the next iron chef.

  • Wow, the master commentator doesn't get to eat the final dishes....?? that SUCKS, he deserves to I think.

  • no he does he does it on the side out of view

  • I wonder if the word "roulade" doesn't translate. Or "caul fat".

  • Why does the voice for the female guest sound like a 9-year-old girl with down syndrome?

  • @demonhand lol and the female guest also looks stoned.. mind you if I was gonna chow down on world class cuisine I might burn one down first. lol

  • @demonhand because shes an asian with accent >_>

  • @demonhand in some countries thats sexy.

  • @demonhand The same reason making fun of people makes you feel better about yourself....just human nature I guess.

  • what does that guy keep yelling? KUSISAN? and why

  • "Fukui-san". It means "Mr. Fukui."

  • seemed weird that he had to keep asking him before he spoke

  • @Sneezlebob

He's there to inform them what's going in the dishes because the commentators can only guess whereas Ohta is on the floor with the chefs.

  • stuffed lobster wrapped in ham wrapped in caul fat? wow

  • @pele6922 It's a french cooking technique called grasser meaning; to rub fat or lard over something before cooking it in order to give it more flavor.

  • lol they all ignore the woman and its kinda awkward+lobster is delicious. :D

  • I feel bad for the little Mexican who washes the dishes after the shows.

  • There's no mexican dish washers in japan lol.

  • Lol.. Thats so wrong and funny at the same time..Lol..

  • IMO its so not fair italian style going against chinese style, .....its like comparing tomato with tofu, its totally a different style of cooking. weird kobe the one chosen?

  • i thought the same

  • haha poor woman she's being ignored..i kinda feel sorry for her. its just too obvious!

  • i agree

  • Brains...... in brandy. Yum

  • everyone is ignoring the women

  • im hungry now =d

  • Naomi's like "i like Chinese cooking, it's so dynamic." and no one gives a fuck or even agrees with her LOL

  • Lol yeah, poor woman. I do agree with her however, Chinese cooking IS dynamic. If you ever get lucky and chance upon a good chinese restaurant with an open kitchen, you'll know what I mean.

Old chinese chefs also say that Chinese cooking is an art form created in fire.

  • 2:33 - "But it is a monster of a sausage..."

  • Q:CHIKUI-SAN?

    A:SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • its fukui-san, one of the regular commentators. he just says it like hes havin a small seizure

  • totally

  • That has been gettin on my nerve if he say it again im gonna close the window lol

  • @teokiatuan2 *fukui-san*

  • @Zcarbon oh ok... couldn't catch it

  • @teokiatuan2 that's the funniest part XD

  • @teokiatuan2 Had to be done. Hahaha.

  • i think you're the one who deserves that

  • Did you just reveal to us one of your sexual desires?

  • Lol that women is being completely ignored

  • i hate that "Fuku-san" yelling person.. in this one, he is really annoying. but...bareable in some others

  • Ham + Lobster = Yum!

    or Monster hotdog.

  • haha that guy sounds so annoyed by that guy who keeps cutting in...

  • the guy that says SQUEEZE-ON or whatever!! lolol?

  • lobster-- tasty, but still basically a big bug.

  • Holy freakin' hell! Those lobsters are gigantic. I'd probably be freaked out like the actress too if one got that close to me....

  • I love the technique the challenger uses to fry the rice.

  • Ah, shaddap Insomaniaartist. U don't noe food obviously.

  • i never thought someone could make me crave lobster brains. i stand corrected.

  • SKUZAAA

  • I don't know why I can't eat lobster... it just looks too alien to me

  • Try it. No more excuses. Make somebody feed it to you whild you are blind, and possibly oblivious so that you don't know what you are having. Then you could truly say that you like it without prejudice.

  • Yea, u shud really try it. A basic one would be fried rice with lobster meat. God, that would really be costly, haha. Gotta go to the right restaurant though. There's a reason why giant lobsters are so exp.

  • This show is AWESOME!

  • I love lobster, I will eat it any way cooked!

    These Iron Chefs are amazinggg!

Damn Id love to be a judge.

    FOOD = HEaven especially lobster!@

  • lobster rolled in ham... this is illegal!

  • CHEN KENICHI is the best chef, he pwns

  • the iron chefs should be voted best for the following:

    Chen Kenichi- Spiciness

    Hiroyuki Sakai- Art

    Masaharu Morimoto- Agression

    Masahiko Kobe- Pasta

  • i'd also vote Masaharu Morimoto best for creativity. I think he thinks outside-the-box more often then his peers.

  • I agree. I admire Morimoto and Kobe since my favorite dishes are chinese, japanese, and italian. but when you look at the dishes they prepare, you're like "Woah! that's awesome!" I learn new cooking techniques watching this show

  • They should have used Iron Chef Chinese for this battle.

  • the lady is fucking annoying. "ahhh it looks so good", the repeats that line so many fucking times!

  • KingAcosta, gaston spends 8 hours in his cooking lab inventing and reinventing everyday, improvising is something he's really good at, I bet he would win, because he's very creative and such a good chef.

  • that's nothing new linited, in Peru they've been making arroz chaufa (peruvian-chinese fried rice)and that's the way the make it, it's more rich than the chinese one

  • Many times the dishes are original inventions or even improvisations, that's something Gaston is not capable of doing, but he is still good, yeah

  • yummm i luv seafood. new technique to make fried rice now too. egg first. must try it

  • my japanese friend told me the same thing, that it's best to coat the rice with the raw egg before cooking it

  • They always make such creative things.

  • If you thought the lobster killing was awful, watch the turtle battle episode. Wow.

  • Turtle?! Dang.

  • Turtle?

  • The girl's dubber sounds like she has Down's Syndrome. Very annoying

  • yea, we need lethal injection for lobsters before we start chopping them up. right.......

thats not cruelty. its called delicious!

  • oh geez, i'm so hungry watching this "orz

  • damn i got the munchies now

  • I always get that after watching this show.

  • "Cruelty".

Fuck you. Don't eat any animals, then.

  • Er. No.

    Youtube some videos.

    Youtube cow cruelty.

    You'll see how they die.

Cows don't "get shot in the head".

  • Who gives a shit really? Cows are meant to be food. All they do is walk around all day and eat, frolic in the motherfucking sun and eat some more. It's all part of the god damn food chain. I don't see you complaining about lions tackling a deer and eating it's guts while it's still alive.

Facts are: Cows were created to die for our well-being. We don't have to be nice to them at death, we honor them for serving their purpose by savoring every single beefy morsel.

  • I AGREE. and alligators won't be nice when eating you. and they will honor your death by filling their belly.

  • yea zep is right

  • Lol why are we crying over lobster? I see people cry more over the death of our food source than other fellow humans... Rather annoying really.

  • @Shintenzu I agree! I think its sad when people would rather cry over animals than people. In my opinion, people always come first. :)

  • @EmilyGreene1984 I strongly disagree, you insensitive fucking bitch. But that's just my take on it.

  • @EmilyGreene1984 There are no people dying in the video...why would people post here about crying over people dying...?

  • @EmilyGreene1984 People always come first? How selfish - I always let my animals get off before I do...

  • @LeadLead

    It's pretty shellfish you mean!

  • @gowjo18 oh snap!

  • @Shintenzu I guess its all about how they do it. Sometimes they'll bash their heads in with hammers, cut them open alive, boil them alive, lotta crazy stuff. I guess what bothers people is that they kill them so casually and animals/mammals seem so innocent.

  • @Sonoftutuchoppy While this is all true, my point is that humans need to first learn how to treat their fellow humans properly before they even get to the point where they will treat animals properly. I am definitely an advocate for animal rights, but I certainly wont place it higher in priority over human rights.

  • I ate crab brains before. Not sure about lobster brains.

Crab brain is usually red/yellow/black. It tastes bitter, and is very high in fat. But it's really good.

  • crab brains... best drinking food

  • yea, i had crab brains before. its like fatty. but its pretty awesome for what it is.

  • i like killing by boiling

  • why wasnt the callenger facing iron chef chinese?

  • Typically, they're killed by splitting the head down the centre but that would have put humanity before spectacle. Can't have that can we?

  • I feel bad..apparently the chefs & other people don't...I've seen fish cooked alive in boiling oil...

  • they dnt call them the iron chefs for no reason.. tha masters of culinary cuisine

  • they wouldnt rigg it,even if it is a show. in Japan, its muchly about tradition and pride. One would be shunned for any cheating, especially to one such as a iron chef.

  • i wonder when the chefs have time during their cooking to give comments... or do they do the interviews before the actual cooking?

  • damn $400 lobsters

    look hella good.

  • lobster rox soooo much. . . . . . mmmmmmmmmmm (drool)

  • mmmm...Lobster.

  • See part 5

  • who win this episode?
