  • @aMgVbros4aetas That's right! =)

You are absolutely correct. It was Shirley Walker who conducted the Batman soundtrack score, which was spectacular.

  • Actually, a female conductor (whose name I cannot remember) did this as this was the only track that Danny Elfman did not conduct, and yes, Prince (along with his father) wrote this, too. I know this because it's my favorite track on the entire album and played this one endlessly.

  • Compare this theme to "Flowers" (track 5).

  • this scene was apparently hated because alfred let her in to the bat cave

  • I like it. This theme makes you think of some special girl.

  • "I liked to, but he's out there right now and I gotta go to work."

  • @Harri927 "

I'd like to, but he's out there right now, and I gotta go to work."

  • this theme works better with bruce and selina though

  • yes i know the lines but i change them for my needs greg

  • but he's out there right now, and I've got to go to work...

  • i want to but he's out there right and i have to go to work

  • Elfman's "Love Theme" and "Scandalous" from Prince's Batman soundtrack sound a lot alike. Obviously this is intentional, but does anyone know which was written first?

  • @Secundas i think prince wrote it first and then elfman had permisson from prince to wrote a orchestral version of prince's song scandalous so in other words prince wrote it first hope that helps

  • @heerogunkenobi Thanks :)

  • @Secundas no problum

  • @Secundas Prince wrote the song "Scandalous" with his father John L.Nelson for his version of the soundtrack in 1989.. Elfman used it to compose the Love Theme. Prince released an extended version of the tune with his then-girlfriend Kim Basinger (Vicki Vale) on a 12"/CD single. Hope this helps.

  • @Secundas I know. This version is Danny Elfman's arrangement.

  • It really is an emotional scene, very lovely but somehow very subtle. A very haunting look at Batman's humanity and the pain he goes through.

  • @desotowrong this song works better for bruce and selina then bruce and vickie

  • Haunting and cool at the very same time

  • This was my favourite score from the film, so beautiful. The music expresses the love, emotions and feelings that Batman really has as a person and that he is not just a dark human in a suit : ) x x x <3
