At speeds approaching 200 mph, the differences between 2 & 4WD are precisely similar. I've driven a stock Toyota 4WD (Tacoma) at 200 mph on very icy roads. There are times when you can feel a slight loss of traction. Yes, I suspect gender plays a big part in most collisions/rollovers.
