  • I've read that Chuck Norris can drive through it in his 1962 Cadillac, without folding the mirrors!

  • they say its 725 years old. i say its 869 years old.

  • when i was a kid me and my mate use to make cubby houses n shit up the bush.. anyway there was this tree that had a big hollow V hole in the trunk.. and it was me personally who named it the cunt trunk tree... it its still know by that name by fuck all people really but hey...

  • Damn it should have fallen on the car.

  • LOL! You got plenty of room! Ummm, i wonder what the point of carving out an anciant tree is for when there is space around it. Just wondering :)

  • yea thats a BAD THING

  • You are correct it was on private property with a small gift shop to browse as well

  • Many guesses below. This looks like the Tour Thru Tree by Klamath. It would not be in Redwood National Park, nor the state redwood parks. The Tour Thru is on private holding. Its not the Shrine drive through redwood near Myers Flat. And its not the Chandelier drive through redwood. The Shrine tree is the weakest of the bunch, held up by cables. Visually, this Tour Thru Tree looks insufficient regarding wood for stability. For more redwood information, GOOGLE: mdvaden + redwoods

  • "now were is my massive chainsaw? "

  • Sometimes (more and more often) I hate humanity, this is one of those moments...

  • The title of this video doesn't tell where this tree is located (Yosemite).

  • No it is not! that tree is in Humboldt County, CA!!!!!!!!!!

  • No one directly wrote that the tree is in Yosemite. It should be Yosemite in question mark. Parkyacar indicated it's in Redwood National Park.

  • Those tree are perfect for fire wood & charcoal .

  • cool

  • pointless

  • RV lol

  • Ive been there and its such a great place.

  • Not to rain on anyone's parade but this is one those examples of things we used to do to the planet-that we shouldn't be doing anymore.

  • What a waste of a perfectly good tree.

  • This tree wasn't intentionally hollowed out to make room for cars to drive through. If so, they would have made it a little bit larger. As I understand it, this tree was infested w/ a particular wood type of parisite (beetle) & they started cutting chunks out of it to remove the beetle. Their hope was to study the beetle, find a treatment but they did expect the tree to die but, it would have anyways due to the bug. BUT, in the end, even w/ the hole in it, it ended up still living to this day.

  • @scrabbytoy OH! Thanks for that info :) Just wondering what the point in making a tree whole was for if there was space around it for travelers. What you said answered my question.

  • Its not a waste. If you heard him, the tree is still alive.

  • @sk9utube why?

  • lol

    and it's alive and all!!

  • i went there! our RV wouldnt fit:)

  • wow
