Brilliant stuff. Surprised it didn't win. Brilliant writing, fantastic performances, great images - everything is working together seamlessly. If the director's cut ever comes out it should finish at 2.27 with 'don't mime.' The last minute or so is just embellishment (which, granted, includes the hilarious line: 'you're going to reach out for something that's not there' - but the rest is padding).

This grabbed my attention immediately and I laughed which is more than I can say about the winner. Tropfest is about the 'idea' which should be original, entertaining and enlightening. Beatbox was a kid's music video with no substance and didn't tell a story whereas the others did.
