@xplymouth2 why does he need work? i put a tuner to the speakers and it said he hit the high E perfectly at 0:58! maybe u need to clean your ears out.
If he moved in closer to the mic this would enhance the lower vocal range you speak of. He is too far away from the B1 anyway, thus the reason why he sounds so quite.
To be fair you need two mics to pull this off, one B1 set near where the neck meets the body of his guitar, do experiment, & the 2nd Mic for vocals placed about 6 to 8 inches away to boost the lower frequencies of the voice, if you want that big Nashville vocal sound. Finally use good compression to add a bit of gloss to it.
