toyota mr2 vs bmw 320

I own a BMW 320i (2.2l 6) and an Mr2 2.0i and I can tell you the MR2 is the more exciting car and would win in a drag race over a short distance but the BMW is far more confidence inducing round the bends and has so much more torque that contrary to popular opinion would beat the NA mr2 through the twistys. Sad but true.

The turbo MR2 would completly obliterate the beemer tho!

Mr2 is a 2seater, midengined.toyota should have made turbo only otherwise r lemon. BMW 320 r heavy n slow.both slow cars but cute!

The 95 is kinda crap just so you know. Go for revision 2 or 3, the rev 4 or 5 are weaker engines, for better emissions.

Thats a Rev1/2 so 158hp. Rev3 onwards has got 173hp, Toyota made some changes, ACIS probably made the biggest difference powerwise.

a mr2 gti has 175 bhp without a turbo

and weighs 1190 kg

a 320 has 150 bhp

and weighs 1365 kg

so it's faster anyway :P

and a 325i has 170 bhp with 1300kg

so even a 425i won't beat the mr2 gti!!:P

My mr2 turbo will take youre old e30 no probs handsome.

And pss btw, a n/a mr2 will sprint from 0-20 in 7,8 s your beamer does that in 8s flat..
