  • Thanks for this video..

I am about to try this today!

I will send you my Video Results!!

    Thanks Girly :-))

  • Theres no R in Aphogee hun :) I love love your hair btw!!

  • I have a friend that is losing her hair extremely bad. May question is can that product restore what she lose? Her crown area of her hair is completely bold as if she was a cancer patience, so do you have any advise on how she can replace what she have lost?

  • @LadyBoles1 this product only strengthens what hair you have. if her hair is completely bald in an area for no reason it sounds like alopecia. look it up and it will tell you details if she has it or not. but there is no cure. sometimes the hair will just grow back. my brother had it once for about a year and one day it just started growing back and now you would never know he had it.

  • @LadyBoles1 for bald spots try dr miracle intensive moisturizer. The tingling sensation

  • its actualy aphogee without the "r"

  • WHAT IS YOUR HAIR TYPE? AND YOU SHOULD TRY THE HEUTIFUL STEAMER IT WILL DO WONDERS FOR YOUR HAIR GIRL!!!

  • Beautiful.

  • i love your hair gorgeous

  • ok my hair maybe protein sensitive but im not sure. i started using the aphogee treatment about two months ago and after the two times of me using it i've noticed that my ends are really dry, but that may also be from me needing a trim. theres also a little breakage in the middle, but ive also be slacking of combing my hair fully and doing my night time regimen. what do you think?

  • Has your hair grew longer since '09 ?

  • it smells like buttt!! lol yes it really does!!

  • Your video was GREAT, I went out and bought the protein treatment watched your video and realized I needed the shampoo and moisturizer......Ran back to the store and got everything then did my hair. Thank you for the video it was very helpful!!

  • do use wear a plastic cap over your hair before you go under the dryer?

  • Aphogee treatments are incredible...I wasn't sure but I needed something to stop the shedding of my hair...wow! LOTS of body..movement..less shedding...I will use again in 6 weeks...I definitely believe this stuff makes my hair stronger...Teflon hair..lol!

  • Hey Mrs. Dimples I am thinking about trying the two step treatment and I was wondering if you still use it and have you seen any improvement?

  • @damphatty yes i still use it and i still see improvement

  • what can i do to get it growth back and one side of my hair to i try every thing to like vitamin e oil and aphogee protein treatment and my edge come in a litte that all but my hair come out now why

  • Ms Dimples, u have any other recommendations for when I'm doing my twists besides the shea better? I watched all your videos and u always put it in before u do ur twists, remember shea butter and my hair ain't friends and i've used different ones, so any other cream plz :)

  • would you say this is the best reconstructive treatment you've ever tried cause i have heat damage, its not really bad damage but i wanna try and treat it before it gets worse but i don't know what to try

  • Did you use anything other than water to rinse out the protein treatment? Or did u condition before u use the balancing moisturizer or after? I gonna do it i have everything but I dont know whether to use the reconstructor before or after the balancing moisturizer or not to use it at all when doing the protein treatment...HELP ME PLEASE

  • @love30034 follow the directions that comes on the protein treatment botlle. it tells you step by step

  • @love30034 I personally follow the balancing moisturizer with a conditioner, many people don't condition after doing the aphogee steps but I do and ot really helps put the moisture back in.

  • @nikjohn77 Thanks I will try it next time... but my hair felt really soft after the balancing moisturizer but i can also use more moisture in hair

  • do we have to use the aphogee shampoo and moisturizer?? i only boght the protein treatment

  • @temickab Yes it's a system and all three go together

  • @PRETTYDIMPLES01 oy, i only used the protien treatment part last night, so does that mean it might not have worked because i didnt use the system? I cant afford the other ones. Well, ill see what happens in the next few weeks. You want me to let you know?

  • I had one of those Aphogee shampoos and treatment before. They smell horrible! So i stop using them. lol

  • Trying to establish a new regimen b/c I think lack of protein is causing my excessive shedding. I used it for the 1st time in a looonnggg time this weekend & notice shedding is not as bad. I know your hair has grown a lot since this video, are you still using this a 6 wk protein treatment as part of your regimen?

  • hey do you use just water to rinse it out or do you have to shampoo it out?

  • I'm not sure where you got your Aphogee products from but they are robbing you. lol

  • @srad6chic Right! I get the biggest size for 7 dollars, not 18 like she said.

  • I heard you are not supposed to comb with it in :/

  • @curvybody2 thats what the directions say

  • @PRETTYDIMPLES01 yep it do say that.. and it also say like u said shampoo with aphogee 4 damage hair

and after using protien treatment use the balance moisturizer, thats how i am going to do it, but i seen alot of u-tubers using their own shampoo, and condtioners, oh well each its own i guess, i will b doing it like dirdction say.lol

  • LMFAO!! it smells like butt???? LOL!!! that one had me rolling sorry..

  • afrogee....lmao comical but its and honest mistake

  • Very good videos. You are very pretty and very talented. Can tell you have a good "relationship" with your natural hair :). You are an inspiration to me...always wondered what else can one do with natural hair, other than the puff and twist...but you have definitely raised the bar :). Kudos and keep doing your thing!

  • i use this product last night and its great i think its works really well on natural hair because i got better results when my hair is natural now then i did when my hair was permed

  • I JUST realized I had this aphogee treatement stuff and I'm excited to use it because I watchedd this video a while ago and wondered what that treatment was about....SO, I'm very excited to use it...just watched this video again for a 'refresher' on how to use it...so thanks once again for the vid!

  • Hi, I wanted to know do you still use the Aphogee treatment?

  • I cringe at aphogee. Its made for damaged hair...and most of the women on here who use it. DONT have damaged hair. Its a shame.

  • You hair looks GREAT in this video as always!!! Did you continue to use the Aphogee after this video? I think I saw the protein treatment in another video. My hair is breaking in the middle again from stress. I would like to try it but does it work better using all three products?

  • LOL. I"m cracking up because I just got finished doing mine and I said it smelled like butt.

  • i used to use this when my hair was permed. its really strong and has a ton of protein. it is real good for your hair but ima stay away.

  • I love using the Aphogee two step treatment...I don't use the shampoo but I use the two step and then the balancing moisturizing conditioner...I've used it twice and I feel a change in my hair...and when I use that treatment I also do egg, mayo, and olive oil....great video...and whom ever said natural hair sisters shouldn't use it...thats so not true...healthy hair is a needed whether natural or permed...and this restores and rebuilds hair most def...great video...

  • why do people call it aphRogee

  • lupsie19- its called being human and making mistakes i guess

  • I luv ur hair!!! I'm glad I finally found a tutorial with someone who has used Aphogee on natural hair! My hair is natural, but very damaged from wearing weaves/braids and lack of care =(..I was going to cut it off really really short to start over..but this my be the soultion, and I prob won't have to! Thanks again for the post! Happy Holidays to ya!! =)

  • I love your hair. The color is perfect for u.

  • Hi. I'd like to know if this is some sort of relaxer. I'd like to use the two step treament... but I don't want to put my hair through a chemical process. Thanks for your help!!

  • imastrid07- no its not a chemical its just a protein treatment. good for strengthening the hair

  • so this I understand that I can use aphogee products on my natural hair thanks

  • hey i used aphogee and i love it... but my friend has a perm and would like to know if you have any suggestions for hair shedding.

  • Aphogee is for permed hair, usually damages to hair is due to perms and coloring..I don't understand why people with natural hair even use this product..natural hair is way healthy to waste your money on this..well, except u are in the transition state.

  • a lot of ppl with natural hair use this product because natural hair still needs protein not as often as perm hair does but i used it because of the hair damage i had from heat. the girl who's video this is is natural i see more natural ppl use it than permed. my hair is perfectly fine again after using this product

  • I really want to go natural but i am really scared to cut off my real hair. And yes i wear alot of hair weaves but ireally want to make a change and go natural. my biggest ? is would i have to cut off my hair

  • YOu can transition with weaves or braids until your natural hair gets to a particular length then you can cut off the rest of the perm. If you decide to cut it all off, trust me your hair will grow fast anyways. I don't know why but it does.

  • I love your vids! They are very helpful, I was just wondering what is your hair type?

  • lol @ afrogee. haha

  • i couldnt pay attention.... ur ams are amazing! :)

  • I don't think anyone needs a big bottle of the 2-Step because you only use it EVERY SIX WEEKS or the week before a relaxer (which I think should be every 3, 4, or 6 months, but that's just my opinion on relaxers). I like how you do sections. I just do the whole damn head at once lol! I might do sections next time. Also, a good multi-vitamin pill is good too, ladies. Or a prenatal (no you don't have to be preggers lol) pill. I took Biotin pills before Aphogee and it helped my hair and nails

  • hey your comment is realy really helps thanks for sharing I did not know you had to do the 2 step every 6 weeks

  • yes i luv aphogee 2 step treatment. used it this weekend; this is my 2nd treatment . This one for far better than the last one b/c i sectioned my hair. I highly recmd people to do this because once it dries thats it for that section.

  • beautiful girl beautiful hair!!!

  • did u experience tingling or burning when u used this product?

  • Relaxed2Natural- not at all

  • My hair is very damaged and broken (It's so bad the back is already all unrelaxed hair) and desparately needs trimmed. I plan on BC-ing in about a month. What are your thoughts on a protien treatment in an attempt to minimize any more damage before my month is up?

  • redcrimson718- its a good thing to do a protein treatment. this what i am using in the video you are to use it every 6 weeks. i love this stuff and have seen a big difference

  • i got mine foR 5.99 [shampoo]

  • I love the braids! did you do them? thanks for sharing this video.

  • ummm....it is not pronounced aphRogee

its actually pronounced A-Fah-Gee...there's no "R" in the word...

  • miymiy04- yes you are one of the millions who love to correct me. good thing pronoucing it has nothing to do with putting it on my hair

  • l0l sorry i just didnt want anybody else having anything to say to you about that....cuz whoever told you it was pronounced like that l0l [shaking my head] needs help. but i didnt mean it like that...sry.

im starting the aphogee today! hope it helps my hair!!

  • miymiy04- lol no its just me saying it like that. so i guess i need help. :)

  • Beautiful girl, amazingly lovely hair and clear smooth skin. This vid was very helpful. Thanks.

  • Ha! Smells like butt! That is EXACTLY what my brother said when I put it on! I LOVE doing the Aphogee treatment. It really strengthens your hair.

  • How long do u sit under the with the ahgoee two step

  • Columbusohio78- maybe about 15 to 20 min

  • i lllllllllooooooooooooooooovvvvvvvvveeeeeee it

  • Do you only use the Aphrogee Shampoo or do you use others when you clean your hair?

  • Casfaye- i use the Aphogee shampoo that it says to use before doing the treatment which is the shampoo for damaged hair

  • I know, but what I was asking was if you use it every time you shampoo or just right before you do the aphrogee treatment...

  • Casfaye- oh i just use it when im doing the treatment

  • IS APHOGEE GOOD FOR AFRO HAIR?

  • aphogee is good for any type of hair. The only reason people use the product is to treat damaged or breakage that is done to your hair by chemicals, the sun, etc.

  • Thanks alot! I can't wait to try everything! You are like the hair angel or something. lol

  • When you alternate the avocado and the reconstructor, do you use that in addition to another conditioner or solely those treatments?

  • aphrodivess- just those conditoners

  • i found it REALLYYYYYYY CHEAP online

  • WHERE CAN I FIND THOSE PRODUCTS?

  • Any hair supply store. Try Sally's.

  • i have been using it for 2 yrs now and its great but i would recommend using the shampoo only about 2 to 3 times a month because it has alot of protein in it....but everyone is different that's just me ..and also i did use ateyaa's regimen and it is really good...i just changed a couple of things....your hair is beautiful by the way and i love the color:)

  • Where did you get that from? Mine was only 5.99??!!!

  • ROFLMAO at you saying that stuff smells like 'butt'. It does stink. I used it right after my big chop and wont be using it again for a while (probably in another 8 weeks).

  • Hi!

I checked out about matrix socolor-it is convincing but unfortunately can't order it unless i am a hair dresser. That is in sweden. How do you get that? you could email me please please!

  • virkamsh- well thats how i get it bc i have my license

  • is your hair nautral cause i was nervous bout using it ith natural hair

  • Georgia Skyez- um yea as natural as can be

  • its not aphrogee its aPHOgee

  • theperfectcounsel101- i think i know this by now since you are one of the other million to tell me and i did put on the link to correct myself so thank you so much for putting this to my attention once again when i wish to comment on other improtant comments. :)

  • I find the best application of this product is to put it in a color applicator bottle, shake it till it is really foamy, then apply. with this method it runs less and you have better control on where it goes.

  • dracoBabe88- i'll have to try that

  • I didn't wanna spend all that money for the first time because I didn't know if I would like it sO, I bought the 2 pack protein/balancer for $3.85 @ Sally's....WoW!! Absolutely did wonders. Before I used Aphogee, I had enough hair left over in my comb TO MAKE A KINKY TWIST WIG FOR A MONTH OLD BABY--lol--after the treatment I could about honestly count the hairs left over in my comb--LuV it.

  • SheLLizBeinSheLL- lol thats funny. yea i love this stuff

  • You are funny!!!!

    I needed that laugh, too.

What a day. Y'all pray my skrimps in da lawd!

  • LoL- Thanx

  • Gal i would like to thank you for all your inspiring vds. Am new to going natural and am very grateful to all the ladies like you who have been my inspirational. Keep up the good work. Be blessed

  • where do you get your shea butter and coconut oil I can't seem to find the right one?

  • Hi PRETTYDIMPLES01, I also use Aphogee products, I love Aphogee. I have a question for you, what is the color that you have in your hair in this video? It is very pretty on you.

  • dinficsne- i have two videos on it

  • have u ever like made your hair straight with the hair curlers i like your hair the way it is though its cute and i love your hair styles

  • Can u let it air dry or is heat necessary?

  • Once again, I can;t stop staring at your arms!

    Great biceps, just great!

  • Antony777777- well stop staring because it ain't cute

  • LOL! @ your comment....I used aphogee too the shampoo and conditioner make up for the smell of the protien treatment. Keep making videos because yours are one of the best and i watch them all the time

  • slo1986- thank you. :)

  • how about on locs? anyone know?

  • nfernandes2005- you wouldn't need it on locks because this is to eliminate breakage but with lock thats what hepls it to lock is to have all the dead hair stay in the lock to gather and make it strong enough to stay and lock. so this will only make it unlock or not lock as good

  • Listen, God blessed me with very strong hair and I have enjoyed experimenting (chemically) especially through my teens and twenties. In HS (cosmetology classes) I was first introduced to aPhogee and I have basically eliminated breakage as a result. I kid you not! Worth the money and time to use it correctly! Thanks for posting! Use this product, sisters! I cut off a bad relaxer October '07. My hair was maybe 2 1/2" long with I rocked in 2-strand twists for al east 6-7 months. It's now mid-back!

  • MamaTrina- wow yes i will continue to use it. thanks for the comment

  • omg this stuff works miracles!!!!!!!!

  • im under the dryer now with the treatment on my hair and i dont know how long to stay under!

  • Cool. I'm glad you made this video. I was thinking that stuff was only for relaxed hair. I will be giving this a try! Thanks for the vid!

  • I saw your Aphogee treatment and I wonder if I should use this or if you have something else for severely dry hair. I also have a bunch of hair, would these styles look as nice on me as they do on you? Im so lost, I need your help. <3

  • BraeBrae26 - if you hair is really dry then i reccommend this product. use the directions and only every 6 weeks in needed

  • Does this product ever go bad? I bought 2 types years ago and hated the way i it made my permed hair feel. I've been natural now for a few years and never thought of using until I saw this video.

  • try the Ateeya method (here on you tube)of using the aphogee system...she suggests a few other products to use. Like the Chi silk infusion wich smells gloriouse and leaves your hair silky no matter the texture, also she uses the aphogee tea tree oil spray that is a wonderfull product as well. Check out her feed back comments to. Her method realy works.

  • Hey, I have natural hair but I always wear braids because I play softball but that's over soon and I did not think there were any styles for me out there but when I saw your videos I could not believe my eyes. But my hair is no where near as soft as yours, I don't know if it is because you have a better grade hair or the treatment of your hair.

  • Your hair looks so good! I love the color. I used to use this product years ago. I would have never thought about using it for natural hair. I will be purchasing this. I have learned so much from you! Keep up the great work!

  • mpenny226- hey, thanks. glad i could help

  • safse- oh excuse me for spelling it wrong. no i had no problem with the shampoo. after putting the conditioner in it felt great

  • next you will doing flex video

  • My mom( professional stylish) has been using Aphogee for a long time. She use to put on my fresh relax hair ( and it would burn like a MF) it is a really, really good product, especially for breakage and demage hair. :)

  • EEEEYYouch! I've made that mistake when I was in beauty college. That is so not the time to apply aPhogee. I did an aphogee treatment (on myself) this weekend and followed up with Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Deep Conditioning Protein Pack...my hair is SO super SOFT! I'm still going to try Mrs. PrettyDimples' Avacado conditioner, though.

  • LOL :) , but the thing with my mom its not a mistake, she put it on there purposely as put of her treatment when treating her clients hair. I was doing and buying all this stuff 4 my hair to condition and moisturized my hair , but wave neavou and soft-n-free curl activator are really good products 4 a daily conditions + moisturizers or glycerin&water after washing my hair.

  • Hmmmm....glycerin and water. I keep hearing the praises of glycerin & H20. I've never used it - even back in the Jheri curl days; because we were taught that glycerin has a drying alcohol base which, ultimately is damaging to the 'thio' treated hair. However, on natural hair we may not have that same concern. Can you buy plain glycerin in a beauty supply? Or a drug store? Or will I have to go to Whole Foods market? I'm gonna try it!

  • they sell glycerin in walmart and walgreens

  • Gracias, mzjazzy97. Ya know, I'd never shopped for glycerin before. It makes so much sense that WalGreens would have it. (duh) Wal-Mart, too. What does Wal-Mart NOT have. lol

    Thanks again, lady. Be blessed!

  • I found my vegetable glycerin at the whole foods store in my area. It goes a long way (but, I dont have that much hair). Mix it with some water and your good to go. Lock in the moisture with some shea butter or some oil.

  • Shea butter, oil...got it!

Thanks, gotitlikethat01. I'll send you the praise report, too. ;D

  • You're welcome!

  • expertonmyself- i just called it afrogee. and i will have to look out for the package deal because what i paid was alot. but i still think it is worth it because my hair felt great

  • WOW!!! your twist r really pretty, it must hv taken u 15hrs to finish, the color is soo pretty 2, what kind of color do u use???? I like to play with color 2 bur am tryna find one that is not sooo damaging 2 our hair, I heared that jazzin is ok cuz it coats the hair thus actually protecting it.

  • Your videos are great.. I don't know how to care my hair so I go and get it done all the time.. I do pay a lot of money to take care of my hair :). I have learned a lot from the few videos I have watched on your channel. Thank you sweetheart!!

    much love

    smiley..

  • i just bought this treatment and im going to wash my hair tomorow,i'm keeping my fingers crossed

  • sunckleberrylocs- let me know how it turns out and if you like it. :)

  • I did this treatment about 6 wks ago, but I didn't use the aphogee shampoo...lol it still made my hair soft though!

  • I think I am going to invest in the aphogee treatment. It could only help. Your hair is cute.

  • I have heard great reviews on this..Thanks for sharing... your hair looks GREAT...They sell it at Sallys...can you use the aphogee shampoo as just a regular shampoo or should you go back to your normal shampoo the next time you wash your hair?

  • mzcoca24- you can use it as a regular shampoo

  • Where can I get this treatment? I want to try it.

  • Wow girl ur hair is too cute! I will have to try this. I think its protien based right?

  • GvannD- yep :)

  • I luv the aphogee 2 step treatment too. I haven't used it as a natural yet though.

  • I got a combination of the protein and moisturizer - the big pack for $6. I live in the city and the neighborhood stores are always cheaper.

  • Comment removed

  • @Prettydimples01 I have a hard time with finding products to use on my hair because there are sooo many choices. Its so overwhelming. What would you suggest on searching for products?

  • jaydasmama1- honestly i just get what i like. i get choices i see others on youtube have and things i see in the store by reading what it says its good for.

  • Your twists are so pretty.

  • stop by to show some love

  • is it suppose to increase hair growth? or just help damaged hair?

  • icynuvme323- it helps with breakage, and dry hair to help strengthen it.

  • Thanks for sharing. Your color and twist came out gorgeous. And yes...I felt your hair and it was really soft:)

  • ive used this and i recommend using regular eggs with olive oil. iT has the same effect even makes your hair hard when it dries and it dosent smell as bad not to mention its CHEAPER.

  • edamsel- yea i've uesd that before but egg is animal protein which can dry out the hair some and i just don't like the way it feels on my hair. the afrogee made it a whole lot better than the eggs

  • I have used the Aphogee conditioner. It is VERY IMPORTANT to rinse this out completely.

If you dont, you will have breakage. I also shampoo my hair a second time after rinsing the conditioner out just to make sure all of it is completely gone from my hair. Then follow up with your favorite moisturizing conditioner. I love the Dove Intensive Conditioner in the dark blue bottle.

This is very IMPORTANT to avoid breakage.

  • look oft n fluffy...i like it

  • I have the treatment and I have not used it yet because it makes your hair hard. But I thought I was told that you should not comb or manipulate your hair while the product is on.

  • once you do the intitial comb thru to distrubute, dont mess with it until you rinse it completely out after it has hardened

  • misskimberj- no i didn't comb it when it was dry. while putting it on you are supposed to combe it to evenly distribute it. i read the instuctions

  • Ok thanks. I am still trying to decide if I will use it or not.

When you did your twist did you blow dry your hair first or was your hair still damp?

  • MissKimberJ- i blow dryed it first. just lilke i did in the video entitled "dry twist"

  • where can i buy some

  • poohlicious69- i got mine at a beauty supply store. sally's may have it

  • I've never used aphogee so most likely I'm going to be wrong when I say this, but thought we are not supposed to comb our hair with the aphogee liquid in it?

Your twists looks so nice! =)

  • Most people on youtube who use this treatment says NEVER NEVER comb your hair while the treatment is in your hair... but hey whatever works... Im glad u had good results!!!
