I have this phone and I love it!! I've worn one out and I'm on my second one. The touch screen locks up and I can't unlock it when I make a phone call-I have to actually open the phone up and end the call there. It scratches easily, though the inside screen is fine, and it locks up and freezes and closes messaging a lot.
I have had the Pantech Impact for at least 1 year. I have dropped it in every place imaginable, and it works fine. It's a great phone and there's lots you can do on it. I love the texting on it. The Impact is a great phone for any age. If the back comes off, just use a little piece of tape or get a case. I would recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for a phone. I've had over 5 phones in the past 4 months, and the Pantech Impact is hands-down my favorite.

It's my first phone, but it is amazing and I agree with AxMxF151, I dropped it around so many times, I lost count [ but just to say I'm an extremely clumsy person ] and it still worked fine.

Everyone who has a problem with it- This is not a smartphone, of course using the internet a bunch will run the battery down quickly, and some bigger web pages will slow it down. If your set on using alot of internet, get a smart phone like the quantum or the iphone. No phone is perfect, but it is a very good phone.
Man does the front screen always look like it's bugging out? I really like this phone and I planned on getting it in May but that kinda turns me away from it.
I just got the Pantech Impact, and I must say this may be the best phone I ever had! It has an amazing design. The pink is very cute for a girl between the ages of 11-15. Before I got the pantech I had the LG neon, It was adorible but don't let the phones cuteness fool you like it did to me. It's pros are the camara is amazing but it does have lots of problems. But, VERY durible I spilled a whole glass of sprite on it an dropped it in mud and on hard floors and it still works!!! =) hope I helped
@airplanegod Be very careful with Tmobile. 1. they have very limited 4 G, make sure to check the areas that you will be using it.
2 They lie about having unlimited interent. What it is is this, 5 GB at 4G, and then it will drop to like 2 G for the rest of the month. Now you might not have an issue with that, but my point is that a. they lied, and twisted words to sell a product. and b. 4 G uses up LOT more bandwidth that 3 G. So you will go threw it fast. Buyer Beware.
This phone looks kind of awkward... I'm not really a fan of the phones you can open. Plus the touch screen looks like a pain and the qwerty looks really weird. I would rather get a phone with a slide out keyboard.
@vacuumlover1 I have heard both good, and bad about this phone. I hate the fact that you need to scroll all the time to see a page, but then again, the tecxted is bigger, so its kind of a trade off. I can dead with that. But I have a hard time with phones that operate with a hinge. After two years of opening, and closing, ir must take its told on it. I would not pay a dime for this. But, ATT is offering it free now with contract.
P.S. the only other not-so-cool thing about this phone is the little ridges on the inside by the top buttons are thin, which after a while get brown stuff stuck in it (I just used a toothpick to get it out).
I used to have this phone (my mom had it and i took it from her so she took my old one haha), now I gave it back to her. It was okay, I liked the color and stuff, but it didn't hold too many messages. The font was clear though, on both the screen and keyboard. Now I have a blackberry torch :)

i have had this phone for six months and have never had a problem with it other than unfortunantly i got the pink on because they was out of blue...the only problem ive ever had with it is the answering with the front screen... u sometime have to hit the unlock button before answering... ? and also when lookin through old messages really fast the messages like dont show up so u have to close out of ur texts and go back in. other than that it is a GREAT phone =)

I just got this phone and it works like a dream. Best phone I've ever had. I was a little worried about the front touch screen being well touchy, but you can play around with the sensitivity settings to find one that works best for you. The battery life is also great. When you take it out of the box the battery has a little charge, that little charge lasted me almost two days with heavy texting. No complaints. It's a great buy :)

@Zipitgirlz262 Its to the point of whats not wrong with it. It freezes all the time, it wont send messages, it takes horrible pictures, you cant have certain ringtones, if you try to do 2 things at once it will tell you "STOP. BUSY!" Its the worse AT&T phone ever.

You have to open the phone and have it on speaker to anwser the call. Major pain! But yea your reasons for wanting this phone were the same as mine.. And now im very dissapointed in AT&T and Pantech.

@airplanegod Be very careful with Tmobile. 1. they have very limited 4 G, make sure to check the areas that you will be using it.
2 They lie about having unlimited interent. What it is is this, 5 GB at 4G, and then it will drop to like 2 G for the rest of the month. Now you might not have an issue with that, but my point is that a. they lied, and twisted words to sell a product. and b. 4 G uses up LOT more bandwidth that 3 G. So you will go threw it fast. Buyer Beware.

This phone looks kind of awkward... I'm not really a fan of the phones you can open. Plus the touch screen looks like a pain and the qwerty looks really weird. I would rather get a phone with a slide out keyboard.

@vacuumlover1 I have heard both good, and bad about this phone. I hate the fact that you need to scroll all the time to see a page, but then again, the tecxted is bigger, so its kind of a trade off. I can dead with that. But I have a hard time with phones that operate with a hinge. After two years of opening, and closing, ir must take its told on it. I would not pay a dime for this. But, ATT is offering it free now with contract.

P.S. the only other not-so-cool thing about this phone is the little ridges on the inside by the top buttons are thin, which after a while get brown stuff stuck in it (I just used a toothpick to get it out).

I used to have this phone (my mom had it and i took it from her so she took my old one haha), now I gave it back to her. It was okay, I liked the color and stuff, but it didn't hold too many messages. The font was clear though, on both the screen and keyboard. Now I have a blackberry torch :)

i have had this phone for six months and have never had a problem with it other than unfortunantly i got the pink on because they was out of blue...the only problem ive ever had with it is the answering with the front screen... u sometime have to hit the unlock button before answering... ? and also when lookin through old messages really fast the messages like dont show up so u have to close out of ur texts and go back in. other than that it is a GREAT phone =)

what i mean is that this phone has conversation view , sometimes the messages get messed around! , like then messages you sent would be at the bottom and the person your talking to messages would be at the top ! , which is very confusing.

I just got this phone and it works like a dream. Best phone I've ever had. I was a little worried about the front touch screen being well touchy, but you can play around with the sensitivity settings to find one that works best for you. The battery life is also great. When you take it out of the box the battery has a little charge, that little charge lasted me almost two days with heavy texting. No complaints. It's a great buy :)

@Zipitgirlz262 Its to the point of whats not wrong with it. It freezes all the time, it wont send messages, it takes horrible pictures, you cant have certain ringtones, if you try to do 2 things at once it will tell you "STOP. BUSY!" Its the worse AT&T phone ever.

@Zipitgirlz262 About 2-3 days after I got it. Oh and i forgot to mention earlier.. The touch screen in the front is horrible, when someone calls it wont let you anwser it. You have to open the phone and have it on speaker to anwser the call. Major pain! But yea your reasons for wanting this phone were the same as mine.. And now im very dissapointed in AT&T and Pantech.
