@dinukaperera2809 You Australians have the great respect of us as fighting men.My own unit of 70 soldiers ,I being 58 years old,& 12 of us are still only 18,19,20,21 years old in my mind & heart.
There were 38,880,500 military casualties (dead, wounded and missing) during the First World War.
To put the death toll into some perspective, there was an average of 24,812 casualties for every day of the war. Or, one casualty every 3 seconds.
And I'm damned if I can see that they were fighting for anything more than "our team versus their team" after an argument among a few aristocratic relatives.
Thank you very much for uploading. Greatly appreciated from New Zealand.
This was shown in the early afternoon over five days in 1986. Definitely ties with Band of Brothers.

Great Serial. Regarding it´s of the 80´s - well-balanced and an other view on the war. Not american. Thanks for uploading.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years contemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Thanks for posting this series. I have been unable to find it for sale in the United States, since I emigrated.
Every bit as good as it was when I saw it the first time, some 25 years ago as a serving "Pomey" Squaddie
