  • Paul is a very great guitar player!

  • Couldn't be happier with this amp. Finally found the tone I was looking for. I mean..... This amp sucks! Buyers beware!!! haha..

  • 2:23 no problem

  • bright sounds dirty, i hope it`s just the camera..

  • Does this amp take pedals well?

  • I have a Night Train 50 Its has amazing tone. The only thing that I have a problem with is the clean is not as loud as I want it to be which could be fix by getting A hollow body guitar that will give you an over all louder volume.

  • @holicmaster a hollowbody guitar will not increase the volume. the pickups determine the output so it all depends on the pickups the hollowbody will add some bass and depth but it will not make it louder

  • The settings for the drive and the crunch is good! but the clean sound I do not like it at all! maybe because after trying BRUNETTI, any type amplifier compares! from clean perfect, distortion varies from blues to haevy! (Brunetti costs so much, but worth all the money spent!)

  • @thechaircover esp is the best

  • @beefhasslehoff nope.

  • @brimill1980 who gives a fuck epiphone and Gibson both suck

  • @beefhasslehoff what do you recommend then

  • this may seen odd... but has anyone else noticed how short the neck is on epi's compared to their gibson big bro's?

  • The amp combined with your playing style sounded amazing, but the camel toe not so much...Just kidding Paul, great job as usual

  • I really love the "lunchbox" style, lower wattage amps nowadays. But, I don't care for the light weight, portable aesthetic. Even Mesa/Boogie has jumped onto this bandwagon. The thing is...the Night Trains, the Mini-Rectifier, etc. are all really great amps, but they appear to be cheap. They are actually high end, high quality amps; put them in a nice box. Check out Two-Rock's 22 and 35 watt amps. They look(and sound) killer!!!

  • @rigorhead01 Well to be fair to Mesa/Boogie they have always offered "short head" version of thier amps and in the late 90's had the Subway series of tiny amps.

  • Pretty nice sound for some styles!

  • an amp that ROARS. LOL

  • heard lots of zeppelin in this video!

  • i tried this out at the shop. Very good amp for rock and maybe hard rock with a boost. Sound can be voiced very wide!

  • starts playing at 2:23

  • 2:22 for the MEGA CROTCH-SHOT

  • Why the fuck u use a Epiphone for gods sake ? The pickups suck...

  • @TheAlMustansir in your opinion

  • @TheAlMustansir the epiphone les paul custom is actually pretty good, its one of the best epiphones you can get.

  • i hate the people that starts the videos when he starts to play, i love listening to paul, and how he explains the stuff

  • 2:22 for start of playing

  • how come everything you review sounds like crap? no offence to you paul, but you should put more time into fine-tuning the setting for the amps/pedals etc. If you do, people might actually consider buying them :)

  • my friend's les paul looks the same as yours... but his sounds better than that epiphone...and it's not a gibson or an esp... it's fernando

  • more suited for a tele or fat strat or ibanez guitar.. Too muddy with this geetar

  • @keithsa41 if he had the master volume up so the power tubes start getting hot then it wouldnt have sounded muddy.. everybody demos an amp based off its pre amp section and not its power amp. the pre amp section of an amp is always gonna sound muddy because its not overdrive its distortion(which doesnt clean up or have a defined sound, as the power amp of amps have a more defined and clearer sound when driven).

  • What?! No riffing on the Gn'R classic......."Nighttrain"?! I mean....c'mon!!

  • @revolutionday1 They aren't allowed to play songs from any band due to copy right infringements. If you see the james hetfield snakebyte review, you'll notice he doesn't play a single Metallica riff.

  • @MegaDarth666 Yeah, I know. Guess I was just wishing aloud. They will often times play rough approximations of licks from songs/artists though.

  • Me think a Fender would have suited this amp better.

  • Comment removed

  • lol, what company in their right mind would name a channel "girth' ?!!

  • MUD!

  • Ew. I can see his balls.

  • @KidGloves2112 Man, I looked... Does that make me gay?

  • There he goes with that shitty epiphone again :/ use an esp.

  • I think that amp sounds like shit

  • i don't like the white background.

    the old background was perfect.

  • @caesar09 that's racist!

  • paul is great, but he has an unatural ability to make any amp/guitar sound boring and the same.

  • no no nooo noo NOOOOOO Don't end on A minor!!! : (

  • @chucky507 He didnt!

  • miss the taylor guitar

  • Why does Paul always have to use crappy guitars for reviews? :( It doesn't showcase the amp!

  • @heymartti that epiphone is a mid range price guitar...not everyone have a 3 thousand dollars guitar...

  • @heymartti I've owned tons of guitars, Charvels, Jacksons, ESP's, Fenders, and even the over priced Gibson Les Pauls and in my opinion Epiphones play and sound just as good for a much better price.

  • @kesx ....they just disintegrate in the 1st month of ownership.

  • @revolutionday1 Well I've been playing guitar for 25 years and that hasn't been my experience.

  • @kesx I own an Epi LP I bought new in 1997 and it was the worst thing ever, when purchased. I say "WAS", because any and every part that was substandard or even suspect has now been upgraded with quality (read: expensive) goodies. They can be a solid platform, if you're a glutton for punishment like myself and wish to spend your days building the guitar up. Just a shame they use the materials they do.

  • @heymartti Umm newer Epiphones aren't crap guitars, especially a higher end Les Paul like what he plays.

  • I want Pauls job.

  • beefhasslehoff is a Faggot

  • One thing i need to do before i die is to play Night Train By GNR through this amp!

  • Im going to be buying a new amp next year. i am going to check this out

  • hey paul, bring back the esp eclipse II

  • Starts play @2:22

  • Great sounding amp!

  • I was wondering when they were gonna make this bigger! Sounds great too, he didn't say anything about 12ax7 tubes though....

  • girthy channel for a girthy penis. no homo.

  • I really really want to like this amp......but I play a gibson les paul trad. and I think that les pauls are real mid rangey guitars and vox amps are mid rangey....... but thats just my opinion

  • That very first riff sounds like Tangerine by Led Zeppelin.

  • Well the girth channel certainly sounds great, not a fan of the jangly bright side there, actually like this amp a lot.

  • Starts at 2:20

  • I play a night train 15 and i love it, this should be great

  • Girth channel

  • Wow sounds FANTASTIC.I wouldnt mind this at all!

  • Paul, with every video you hair just gets weirder and weirder..... Nice review.
