  • music isnt a sport ,or who is a better player, when this guy plays everyone wins.

  • хуйня

  • @Nightwolf1987 yes can u plz email it to vicariousley@hotmail.co.uk

  • this is not real flamenco. Also, it is just plain sloppy. Its just heavy metal "shredding" in a phrygian scale, which makes it sound spanish. You wanna hear real talent? Look to Paco DeLucia, Pepe Romero, Jorge Caballero, Manuel Barrueco. I'm sure this guy can find his way around an electric guitar, but he has no business pretending to be a flamenco "virtuoso".

  • @guitarclass35 I'd LOVE to see you attempt anything near this "sloppy" and "fake" flemenco piece.

Metal is played with a pick on an electric guitar, though you probably are too ignorant to even realize this. If you don't like it, then don't go out saying it's sloppy and fake, when I know full well only a select few people on this earth have enough will to practice this hard to play this beautiful music.

All those guitar players are very impressive, but music isn't made to be compared.

  • @BallerPimp3243 I don't know what to tell you man. You're just flat out wrong. Also,I happen to be one of those people that practices as hard as you say. This is me: bwaldron5

I know what I'm talking about...

  • @guitarclass35 ?

I'm wrong about music not being made to be compared?

I never said you weren't an aweesome player, I stated that you shouldn't bag on this one dude just because he plays a style you don't particularly like.

Music isn't made to be compared; it's made to be heard. To please different kinds of people with different tastes, which is why there's so many kinds of music out there.

Of course, I'm sure that you are too ignorant to even try to understand the beauty of differnt music.

  • @guitarclass35 right, we have the almighty Yngwie Malmsteen who does this 10 times better is more musical

  • that was freaken SICK

  • holy fuck.

  • 0:20 wow so amazing

  • @Nightwolf1987 I do! Though I may not be using it for a few thousand years! evi.angel301 at g m a i l . com . Thanks babe!

  • @Nightwolf1987

    Send me dat :D!

  • tabs plz lol

  • yeah it takes passion but i mean he only plays one string at a time if you know what i mean. wheres the base and the melody? hes really good but music is more than plyaing insanly fast.

  • It's about what sounds good to you, what you like.

  • he's playing the melody. The bass is being played in the background music. Just because he's playing a classical guitar in a non-classical style, doesn't mean his musical ability or technicality are belittled.

  • have u heard of David Maslanka? he writes very unorthodox band music, and his melodies r usually extremely fast notes. similarly this guy plays extremely fast notes. just cuz the notes are super fast doesnt mean they arent a melody. And the bass is being played in the background as stated by zyzanftw.

  • fantastic, very good co-ordination of both hands. well done.

  • fantastic, very well co-ordination of the fingers . well done.

  • Fantastica ^^

  • este wey es la mamada

  • =O

    =O

    =O

  • monster !!!! :D 5/5

  • u are a beast!!!

  • As opposed to Paco, this guys has no duende, no heart. He plays like Malmsteen, a bit better than Malmsteen...but no sentiment, no warmth in his fingers or heart...try loving the music not the speed.

  • im not disagreeing, but maybe hes just so focused he doesnt "get into it" as other people. when some feel the music they dont move and just play with the passion they have inside....just sayin...

  • It really takes a passion to get to this level

  • aw! what kind of fingers have you?

  • damn this guy is good

  • Amazing picking and speed ! Guys listen to Monika (especially over the hill) , you'd love it !

  • 1:15 does anyone else notice that last note he plays with his pinky is just a little odd? Like, he goes higher in frets, but the note is obviously lower. Yet, he doesn't seem to be playing the next string down, either.

  • he is playing the next string down. look at his strumming hand and you can see him switch fingers to pick the 3rd string. hard to see but im thinking he barred his pinky across the fret to press both strings.

  • Comment removed

  • well there's another 2 guitar playing with him that time so thats probably the reason

  • @DJReiko He is using his index finger to play the natural harmonics well his pinky and/or index finger pluck the string and the left hand is holding the position for the natural harmonics. hope that makes sense

  • @bangulo2012 It doesn't at all, because he doesn't use any form of harmonics except for the 5 or 6 notes.

  • @DJReiko Well spotted but this video is fakery and sped up so that might answer the mystery...Lawson Rollins doesn't posses a competent or particularly fast technique and the musical phrasing is lousy as always.

  • @DJReiko Oh i see what you're talking about i have no idea what i was commenting about before hand lol. It seems that the video is really just mimed to me cus during the video transition there is another guitar part in the background. and then the beginning of it aroun 1:13:-1:15 is not in sync with the video seems like

  • /standing applaud

  • this should have more views

  • if you look up "Lawson Rollins" on Youtube you'll find that the original posting of this video has over 1,840,000 views so far.

  • damn!

  • me pm me the link or info dude please

this is like the paul gilbert of acoustic lol

  • Do you want me to transcribe it?

  • dude my mouth is wide open im learning this on guitar aswell ur fkn like 10000 times faster than me and my teacher lol :]

  • Fastest ive seen since michael angelo bation and malmsteen!

  • Comment removed

  • i say he looks a bit like tom hanks

  • it does look a bit like steven seagal except steven is a little heavier by now

  • Steven Seagal? No, not at all. Get some glasses...What a retard!!

  • this is an amazing guit solist.with alot of practice on him.congatulations my friend.just continue to painting on your guitar!!

  • anyone thinks he looks like steven seagal?

  • ...virtuoso!!

  • I apolagize for my earlier comment about metal, some metal is ok, i listen to SOME metal. All i was trying to say is that I'm not a big fan of metal. We all have our different tastes of music. No matter what type of music it is, the point is it's music. Other than that, this is amazing!

  • he has a very happy girlfriend

  • :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

he surely has, that's my opinion, too!

    There is no doubt

  • are people honestly talking about fuckin motorcycles after watching something as awesome as this? ... wow.... lrn 2 live... this was mind blowing.

  • so glad I dont live in a country where grown males behave like immature school children, exactly how old are you people making these purile comments ? BTW there is some damn good skilled playing going on in this vid, but you probably didnt even hear it did you ? Grow up just a tad eh?

  • brilliant, but tabs don't work ;)

  • he's fast but a litle slugish on his delivery trying to copy Paco deLucia keep practiceing you'l get it one day

  • FREE TABS NOW AVAILABLE!

Get the tabs for this video on the website of the guitarist, Lawson Rollins

  • i don't see the point of playing that fast, even though, great thechnique

  • sound like yngwie style.

  • not at all this is realy melodic !!!!!amazing

  • What? This is 100% Yngwie sounding. People need to actually hear Yngwie before judging.

  • What a hell!.......

  • inspiring.. GOOSE BUMPS all over me..

  • perfect!!

  • what the????????????????

  • Astounding right hand technique.

  • Masterful classical guitar player.

  • @ guitarforfree. i think the same.

i want to know where i can get the tabs of this little masterpiece ^^ please help

  • learn how to read standard notation and the picking technique and then go from there. Tabs are not gunna do shit for you with this song.

  • ...got the notes?

    can send me pls?

  • unbelivable playing his hand moving is crazy...you cant find such good guitars everywhere. Also the experience and the teacher matters more.

  • All you can say is this is perfect playing. Years of dicipline. The right hand work is perfect. True guitar playing here. Why you people want to compare players is silly to me. Music is SUBJECTIVE. To make music a pissing contest is to miss the beauty of music and guitar in several styles so relax and think about it. We all love different stuff. I've seen players hold one note at the right place and hit me as hard easily as a hundred. It's immature to think small minded. You miss the statement

  • @guitarforfree this is not real flamenco.

  • @guitarclass35 hm, good point sir

  • metal is OK but im not a fan

  • this song amazes me every time i hear it. soooo good

  • wow this music piece ie really awesome, I dont know others but I sense "Malmsteen" like influences here as well as playing maybe because of speed and neoclassical feeling reminds me of Malmsteen

  • this is what guitar is for not stupid metal, metal just ruins the meaning of guitar, but gratz dude, that was very very very very... fast i play guitar and this is my goal for guitar lol, i dont think i'll get to it tho lol

  • metal has its place. where do you think these techniques came from?? Certainly from some great shred metal players. Because he doesn't play like paco, his arpeggios and open string pedal tone licks are certainly neoclassical metal influenced.

  • Just because you don't have the brain capacity, nor the open mind to conprehent metal, i won't take your comment seriously. =)

  • THIS GOES TO "squigly333" YOU NEED TO REBORN xD THANK YOU !

  • His speed is brutal!!!!! Specially his right hand's. This is what I call a Virtuoso

  • You're right there.

  • seguro q su mujer es feliz

  • Now THAT is fast, a lot of lead guitarists couldn't do faster.

  • I think the sheet music of this needs to be published. It would simply make a fantastic study.

I have commented before but hats of to you and nice work

    Matt

  • wow thats downright amazing.

i know people who play fast, but this is fast and beautiful. often times you only get either or.

  • this is sick!

  • nice i like it... BUT where do i find much older spanish guitar songs? i dont listen to this stuff much but i love the sound of this style

  • ooh my goodness!!!! that was amazing, love how well you play. ya know its funny, some of these guitar players revel over using a pick and sweep-picking, haha, you do it with your fingers!! that was stunning and you are hands down my favorite musician! shit i thought yngwie malmsteen or dimebag darrell had the crown, HOLY SHIT!

  • the finger came before the pick.

  • actually, no. the pick dates bact to the beginnings of the guitar in arab countries, germany, france and spain.

  • are you serious....really

what are the very first guitar players going to use first

There fingers which are already there

or take time to make a pick

  • there were instrunents older than the first guitars that weren't played with fingers so when the guitar came along, the concept of picking strings with an object other than a finger(s) wasn't new. so it is thought that the first picks were built at about the same time as the first guitars. i'm serious, look it up if you don't believe me. you can find this in any music encyclopedia that contains detail info about instruments. i couldn't believe it myself until i read it in more than one source.

  • So, we had picks before we had fingers? Right.

  • no. did i say that? no. i simply said that there were instruments older than guitars that were played with picks. so when the guitar came along, the concept of a pick was already there so the first guitar picks were built at about the same time as the first guitars. it's very simple and you have tons of literature that actually back this up. picks were used in ancient egypt and they didn't have guitars. guitar is a young instrument. other than that, of course fingers came before picks.

  • Orgasm :Q___

  • yeap,harmonic minor, a bit of blackmore-malmsteen..

    Superb

what would be good is if you could post on your web site the tabs for your songs inculing this one...

  • virtuoso!!!

  • wooooooooow!!

  • Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ¿Cómo puedo descargarme esto? no lo encuentro en ninguna parte :S

  • hahahaha all u guys want tabs hahahah, yeah, first pratice for about 20 years then ask for tabs, if u any of u can actually play this, write me a message and send me the video, and i will worship u!!!!

  • The best i can give ya is he's playing in the key of A harmonic minor

(well, not actually the key of A, i'm just referring to the group of frets in the key of A Harmonic Minor in standard E tuning...that is frets on the e strings 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17..etc)

Now as for the actual key/tuning, i'm guessing Eb or D standard, definitely doesn't sound like E to me.

  • Well unless he's tuning down it's E. And he's not because I played along with the first measure, so it IS E. Although he does use the A Harmonic Minor Scale through a major portion of the song.

  • you guys want tabs for this? That's like asking the blue prints for a boeing 747 as if ur going to make it...If u can play this then you should be pro enough to figure the scales out.

  • nice skills on both hands but the song is not really that special ( arpeggios and shredding on nylon)still great performance!

  • TABS ANYWHERE?

  • amazing

  • WeWe want the Tabs for guitar pro!!!!

  • One you thing you also want is the skill to play it.

  • yea hes nearly az quik as mee:P baahahaha wateva.

  • tabs would be awesome

  • This guy is excellent.Bravo!!!!

    Mad Skills

  • TABS please!

  • uhhhhh...............uh......... WOW

  • does any1 know where i could get tabs for this???

  • nylon

  • is he using nylon or steel strings?

  • It's a classical guitar, the first 3 strings are nylon the last 3 are steel.

  • -.- u noob the last 3 nylon idiot

  • Uh... no, 3 nylon and 3 steel...

    1,2,3 nylon - 4,5,6 steel.

    Well I play like that.

  • all the strings are nylon. Its the core of the strings that determines its sound. Classical strings are 3 straight nylon and 3 nylon cores wrapped in steel they are not steel strings. If they were steel core they would have way too much tension.

  • Thanks for the info man.

  • i think i'm in love. he's so good..

  • Wow. Almost as good as Jose Feliciano.

  • by the looks of that it would take a long time to learn

  • kinda ment tabs!

  • does anyone have the yabs for this song?

  • i know i sound like a douchebag when i say this, but.. DAMN THAT WOULD SOUND AWESOME ON AN ELECTRIC!!! anyway this an incredible piece of music. pure and utter genious!

  • my god

    i think im in love

haahah this dude is a fuckin beast

he would yoke any metal head anyday!

  • I'd love to see this on Guitar Hero o_O.

  • this guy is fucking amazing at those arpegios. and he doesnt even use a pick!

  • Technically, his fingernails are picks.

  • its rare to see someone who plays classical or flamenco style guitar with a pick.

  • IS CRAZY

  • lol sweeep picking. Dont mess.

  • thats crazy. yngwie of classical guitar

  • Uh dude not to be mean but Yngwie plays neo classical

  • put that on guitar hero and see who beats it lol

  • No, GH sucks.

  • two words...
