I lost a great friend on May 23, 2006, He was a man of faith and a man who was going to college to get a better life, A man who was about to get married, a man who had a daughter on the way. He was only 19 when he was in a terrible car accident that took his life. he was a man of faith and they played this song at his funeral. but i as an athiest i can only imagine the best times he had in his life. I believe in life, love, and family, i just cant believe in this.

It's funny you should comment on this exact thing. I nearly lost my husband on Feb 2nd to a heart attack. The pain I felt was not that he was going to die, but that he was going to die and go to hell. He hasn't accepted God's gift of Christ's death, reconciling us to God. However; when I think of my close Christian friends, I don't feel the loss that way. Missing them, yes but they're not gone forever. I feel sad you have no hope after death. Life seems so purposeless with that view.

Chelsie was born a few hours prior to my "sister" passing away. My sister was able to hold "Chelsie" for only a short period of time. It was the last time I saw my sister smile. Chelsie is a wonderful christian lady, who has her own Ministry. She only sings songs "for the LORD" and I am extremely proud of her. thx

At his funeral all of the members of his baseball team of a couple of years stood at his burial and held balloons while this song played and at the end they let them go. I miss Jacob so much and he fought his cancer hard. Jacob Budler was only here for 14 years but he touched many people. I will never forget the day he died ~ October 31st, 2007. I miss you Bud!

This video says it all. Imagine being with Him forever and ever!! For me I almost cry when they hold up the pictures of loved one but I lose it when the lady holds up the picture of the baby. Having lost a child at 9days old really hit home. But He is Lord of all.

We all go through these terrible times in life. We all lose a love one sometime in our lives. We all have gone through this. As we will be part of this as well, someone will cry for us when we die, someone will feel just the same as you feel for when you lost someone. all we can do is live life. the way you feel for a lost loved one they would feel just the same if it were you who passed. Im an atheist, when i lose a love one, their is no man upstairs, thier gone, but not from my memory.

It's funny you should comment on this exact thing. I nearly lost my husband on Feb 2nd to a heart attack. The pain I felt was not that he was going to die, but that he was going to die and go to hell. He hasn't accepted God's gift of Christ's death, reconciling us to God. However; when I think of my close Christian friends, I don't feel the loss that way. Missing them, yes but they're not gone forever. I feel sad you have no hope after death. Life seems so purposeless with that view.

Every once in a great while there is a song that reaches one at just the right time. This song carried me through my younger brothers death. I can only imagine that he danced before our savior! That would have been so like him.

I lost my "Grandfather" over 44 years ago. Yes I am a "senior citizen" who lost someone who was my "companion and my closet friend".
I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the wonderful remarks many of you have made concerning the loss of a "grandparent", in particular, because a lot of people take "grandparents" for granted. Eventhough I had wonderful parents, my grandfather was with me everyday of my life until I reached the age of 19. I continue to miss him today, as I have for 44 yrs

May 2006 my brother died of cancer, nov 2006 my sisters 15 year old killed by a 48 year old drunk swinging baseball bat. Jan 17th 2008 sisters 5 yearold dies and on the 26th my mum dies after she is let fall from bed in hos. where does it end????????????????

I lost my dad at 15, I know exactly how you feel but I rejioce and parise God for your belief in him and the strength that he has given you. Please continue to hold unto God for there is no greater joy than a young person who knows the lord. I am now 34 and have made a lot of mistakes but thank God for Jesus, the restorer of all things lost.

Hi kaitlinc717. Do me a favor. I believe you and my "great Niece" have a lot in common. Please look up "chelsie Boyd" and one of her songs "Nothing Back". Yes, I am partial. Chelsie was born a few hours prior to my "sister" passing away. My sister was able to hold "Chelsie" for only a short period of time. It was the last time I saw my sister smile. Chelsie is a wonderful christian lady, who has her own Ministry. She only sings songs "for the LORD" and I am extremely proud of her. thx

I pray that the giver of life and peace who knows the end from the beginning will comfort you and your family. God is definately in control. I pray that he reveals himself to you. As one who has lost a love one as well, I know how painful it is to lose one talk less of 3 but regardless hold unto him who will never leave you nor forsake you. It definately ends when you hold unto him. stay blessed and remember people you dont know are praying for you.

i always want to cry when i hear this song, my life hasn't been going good lately. Sometimes i feel like just giving up, there was once even a time when i wanted all the pain to end, so i was gonna hurt myself.
but the Lord showed me something, he showed me that i have so many things to live for. one important thing is for me to live out his plan for me. And i'm not leaving this earth without doing it. So when i get up in heaven, he can look at me and say 'well done.'

I am not a christian at all, but I cry when I hear this song because it reminds me of my step mom who died in a tragic car accident. IT was played at her funeral along with one other song, I can't remeber the name and I wish I could remeber.. It was something about a beautiful morning, screaming and dancing.. THat is all I remeber from it, but it reminded me of her the most.

Oct.31 07 I turned 50 my dad was only 69 when he pastaway and he was like my older brother and best frend to. Iam ready to go when Iam called, Hope all that read this is ready to. I dedicate this to Jacob Budler. At his funeral all of the members of his baseball team of a couple of years stood at his burial and held balloons while this song played and at the end they let them go. I miss Jacob so much and he fought his cancer hard. Jacob Budler was only here for 14 years but he touched many people. I will never forget the day he died ~ October 31st, 2007. I miss you Bud!

i don't understand the existence of God. ive been raised in a christian family, yet im the only one who cant get my head around a beleif system. i find nearly all beleif systems fairly impossible for me to beleive in. im not saying im a satanist, or all religions are false, personnaly, i find it amazing some people have such strong faiths. i just find it immesley difficult for me to have one. especially now that my Great Aunt has died, i don't know what to beleive at all

ghostwolf558, if u pray to GOD, he will not give u what u want.. but the oppertunity to prove of what u ask..(example: if u pray for peace.. he will not make everyone peacefull...but he will give u the oppertunity to make peace with others)

I went their concert in my hometown wich is acctually where they grew up but he said that satan would be able to get to us if God didnt allow it and that even if satan was the only thing we saw and he was pulling us down God was allowing it for HIS glory for Gods also "We tend to put satan in a colum of bad things that happen to us in our lives, and God in the good. Well God is in both of those colums and Satan doesn't have one."

YEah thats right Satan does everything to us but in the end it will turn out for Gods glory, I went to the mercyme concert in their/my hometown and he said satan will cause people to stop loving you but it would never happen if God didn't know that you would come out better for it and if wasn't going to end up being in HIS glory
