Removing 75ohm Termination will Un-terminate video.the characteristic impedance of coax cable ranges from 72 to 75ohms, its necessary the signal travels a uniform path along in the system to prevent picture distortion and to ensure proper transfer of signal from camera to monitor. Failure to terminate signals usually results in a high contrast, slightly grainy picture. Ghosting and other signal imperfections. RJ45 port for Pelco D protocol at 2400 Baud Rate. Very nice video, i always wanted to know how a Pelco controller works. I use American Dynamics, and the set up is alot different from Pelco. In the future i might consider purchasing Pelco equipment. Thanks for the video. Walt
@cameras1o1 no problem! If you have a good pelco system you can use coaxitron, big plus cause you don't have to run extra or more expensive cable for RS-485 control, with coaxitron you have better accessibility over the cameras. This particular controller can only control one camera directly or more if you get a switcher, but with a Matrix unit or DX8000/8100 series DVR you can use other controllers and the unit supply's coaxitron. Also I see on your channel we like some of the same music :)
Mate your bloody good with this sort of stuff, No wonder you get heaps of hits on your videos, I don't need to try and work things out now, all i have to do is wait for you to upload more videos, Great stuff I injoy watching your videos KEEP them coming everyones learning something from you cheers Mate
