Please check out the 5th comment from Lucky'smusic-- very nice-- YouTub chose to "SPAM" it-- that's just Lucky's handle-- not his business name. ERRR.
As you know, Brian is amazing to work with. Thanks so much for your comment-- very nice to hear. We'll have a site up very soon and a surprise for you in a few weeks! Brian put some great chord subs in that made it really easy to solo over-- he's just as nice a guy as he is a great bassist. :)
Who knew Summertime could be so cool? You two surely do make beautiful music together. The sound quality is so full and well rounded: The piano, as always in your hands, has a personality all its own; the bass, embraced by Brian, is engaged in a conversation with the piano. The result seems to speaks to us inwardly even before we hear it -- touching our hearts and minds before the ears. Now that is magic. That's Gershwin.
THANKS! So glad you liked it! Brtan is the magic groove master. He makes it easy-- all I do is listen to him lay it down and follow the groove. He also added the great chord substitutions that you hear. I've always loved this tune and "Lover Man Oh Where Can You Be." Maybe we'll do a version of that soon. Peace and Blessings, Piano Meets Bass
