All metal heads have a choice when they go to a concert.. to join the mosh pit or to not.Moshing has a dangerous nature, even though there are injuries and deaths there is an unwritten 'moshing etiquette' followed by most, To help up immediately anyone who falls to stop them being trampled.

Contrary to what people may expect (at least for this first band), The Smashing Pumpkins and Limp Bizkit are two bands who are notorious for having moshing injuries at shows. People have died from being trampled in both bands' mosh pits in the 90s. Moshing is fun though. :) Safer than driving... (deaths in car accidents every 12 minutes right?)

Listen to some of the stuff from Gish, Siamese Dream, and Mellon Collie that is not on the radio. I can see how shit can get crazy with some of those songs. There's so much distortion in a lot of their guitar too. Check out Bodies, Geek USA, or Silverfuck. Alternative rock shows can be crazy.
