I used to be into this New Age/Tibetan philosophy.When I got into trouble with the meditation, my "teachers" did not want to know.Breathing techniques are very dangerous.You don't have to be doing TM to get into serious trouble. The Buddhists/New Agers did not want to help.The only people whom have ever helped with me unconditional love is the local Friary where the Catholic Monks live. The meditation these movements promote opens parts of the mind that should remain closed. I have warned you.

A good meditation teacher will endow their student with the understanding and inspiration to go slowly and gradually into deeper levels of meditation. Tibetans usually warn of Luung(spelling?) disease from deep breathing and opening too quickly. Whenever we go into our "stuff", "stuff" is bound to come out. It's usually best to take it in small doses so we can manage the unexpected or difficult. Best of luck with all!
