  • He would give money to children, make sure people ate well -- I've heard so much about him these past few days. It's funny how people are quick to block out the good things in a person. RIP Prakash Gossai. God is the judge. Who am I? He was only human, just as you and I. Only man creates nation/caste. A Brahmin is a person with a clear heart, not because their last name was Prasad and they had wealth. All of this was set up by the British who wanted us to fight each other. Not anymore...

  • @blazin436 vick is this you? LOLOLOLOLOLO its justin....i didnt know you were so deep wit this..LMAO

  • Well, let me now leave a sincere comment lol. I was wrong to say those things about Prakash. His personal life has nothing to do with his work. That's his issue if he wanted other women. By following my ignorance, I denied every good possible thing about this man. Hearing about him from even the closest people that he was very gentle and his actions were Godly, he deserves the best of fame and justice. So, I apologize for everything I've said against Prakash because it was ignorant of me.

  • Do what you can today for you never know what tomorrow may bring. Prakash & I were in the same class @ Cummings Lodge High School. I always wanted to meet him here in NY but never did & now I never will b/c I never made the effort. I thought that as long as there is life ther is hope but now I know there may not always be life. • how did he DIE???

  • I heard from a lot of people that he died from a heart attack. Long story on how everything happened. He was suppose to go in for an operation for his heart. I don't know if he made it for the operation and died during it, or if he died before taking the operation. Anyway, I don't remember the exact story but he died from heart-related issues I suppose.

  • blazin436, again, you must, at one time or another have a history with Prakash Ji to know so much about this deceitful life he leads--accordng to you. We have choices that we can make in order to enrich our lives. If your association with Prakash gives you concern, then terminate it and find another way to channel your reverence for Bhagwan. The multitudes that follow him seem to ignore his imperfections--and again--let GOD judge him!

  • blazin, my young friend. I am not associated with Prakash, however I was on a trip to India about two years ago and he was on that same trip and we did have a casual reletaionship. I am merely defending any one's right to be who they want to be, and if you want to follow the teachings or Prahash, then do--but if you find what he does distasteful, then it is you prerogative to seek reverence elsewhere.

  • blazin436, you are living in a fool's paradise to think that all priests are honest and that they practice what they preach. Take the Christian pimps on TV that constantly and consistently solicit money from disenfranchised people. The Muslim imams teaches the overthrow of any order that is not in line with the Koran. Hindu priests and their officers relentlessly steal from the church coffers for personal gain...and on and on and on. You are describing a Utopian society. It ain't gonna happen!!

  • blazin436, OK so Prakash is not a Pandit, and he knows nothing about Sanathan Dharma. Have you ever known of any Hindu religious service where Shri Prakash Ji is officiating, that is not packed with worshippers, and even non-worshippers? All of us have some sort of flaws, unless you are the Virgin Mary--I think you ought to let God judge him. I enjoy his singing and his preaching; and regarding his personal life, it's none of my damn business--nor yours!!

  • As a singer myself, I know how difficult it can be to perform. Mikes do not always work, so you have to project on your own. Shri is a title of respect. A pandit is a hindu scholar. To be a musician takes alot of time to develop, even when you have natural talent. I spend 3-5 hours every night singing, dancing and composing. But it is worth it in praise of the Lord and the Mother. The harmonium, like any instrument, takes time to master.

  • How does one become a "shri?" Don't give me crap about "living a life," and "respect" and "talent," as many a talented soul abound do not call themselves "Shri". Besides, didn't "Mr/Dr Shri Great Wonderful Bhagvan-incarnate" used to down some serious Daru with the guys back in Guyana? So, again, "Kaise Shri banaayega?" Just a musing. Not meant to offend. :) One more thing: how is it that anyone with a harmonium who sings is now a "Pandit?" So much for brahmins, REAL puja, & living a certain life

  • I agree with you. people like this are jokes in our society.
