  • Israel's citizen army, unimpressive in parades and wearing lousy uniforms, but undefeated on the battlefield! Always outnumbered but never outfought. You are the model many countries emulate.

  • @ahmed2joker

    what peace you Idiot

Sadat was a traitor son of a bitch

  • @egyptianstrider2000

Yes' what peace ya Ahmed you know only hate...... Sadat was a traitor?

    well never mind

    Israel is forever got it?

  • @egyptianstrider2000

Idiot is you an Egyptian who call his leader traitor foe making peace

Arabs and most Muslims are full of hate

  • Can't believe the garbage that some of these comments are made of. The Israelis were outnumbered; they had older, inferior weapons. The Syrians and Egyptian had the latest weapons and tanks, including chemical weapons. They lost, because the Israelis fought for their lives, they were better organized, and better trained. But they did suffer relatively lots of casualties.

  • now this shows truth not the other rubbish on so called revenge of egypt; thank you very much totach7 long live israel!

im a proisraeii moslem and im not ashamed of it.

  • Its true that the Arab losses were three times that of Israel but still one should consider that the arab armies outnumbered israel. the Syrian army alone was ten times as large as the israeli army.

  • @zionistboy don't worry israel and usa and england will be soon out of the map as vosiet union

  • history proved it, and the future will too

  • Ask the thousands of Widows and Mothers of the Egyptian 3rd Army who won the '73 war. Israel has soundly defeated their Arab/Muslim neighbors every time they've met in combat. All this YouTube arguing won't change the facts...

  • Mighty Israel! Am Yisrael Chai! "It is not in our hands to prevent the murders of workers and families, but it is in our hands to fix a high price for our blood, so hight that the Arab community and military forces will not be willing to pay it." Moshe Dyan

  • so the 2nd egyptian army was surrounded. and sure its bad when people are cut off from supplies, starvation, whatnot. but guess what? its war, and cutting armies off is a legitimate way of fighting. look in history and you see that flanking and surrounding an enemy is more efficient that attacking a full army head on (falaise pocket, teutoberg forest, antietam, ect.) the egyptians werent complaining when they destroyed the first line of the israeli suez defense. grow up, shit happens

  • A sallam u alikum......

peace ....... no more war said Saadat

    remember?

  • I am Egyptian , I know well that Egypt did nt won yom kippur or 6th october war ....Egypt caused israel alot of harm and losses but did nt win the war .but i am sure israel lost alot of vehicles and lives..Egypt lost more but Egypt can absorb the loss more than small country like israel

  • yes, totach77 probebly mixed the 2nd and the 3rd armies up and only now I underatnd why you said that it's the 1st time I heard about the trapped 2nd army.

  • October 23, a flurry of diplomatic activity occurred. Soviet reconnaissance flights had confirmed that Israeli forces were moving south, and the Soviets accused the Israelis of treachery. In a phone call with Golda Meir, Henry Kissinger asked, "How can anyone ever know where a line is or was in the desert?" Meir responded, "They'll know, all right." Kissinger found out about the trapped Egyptian army shortly thereafter.

  • of course it's the first time you hear about it - you live in Egypt and you'r histoy books were written by the same guys who lost the war but pictured it as a victory.

I wouldnt probe too much into it if I were you though - you might go to jail like that German blogger living in Egypt who wrote bad stuff about the Egyptian goverment in his blog.
