The detection of a brown dwarf would be easier than detecting the dwarf planet Eris.
First, brown dwarfs would glow in the infrared and possibly visible light and have a greater tug.

I've looked at many parts of the puzzle over many years. since before the net..and with the net, my money is on the dark star..may not be 2012.. but i am convinced it will be..sooner or later..current anomalies in our global phenomina and the solar systems changes, earth quakes, position of the earth related to galactic core, gamma rays..dna.. mans seeming regession in all areas..if the devil dont get us the deep blue sea will :) Im ready..worse things than dyin.:)
