this is one of their best live shows i've seen. the band is firing on all the cylinders. nice to see the pro ambruzzee comments here. the absolute best drummer pj has ever had. PERIOD!!!
I agree 100 percent about bringing Dave back. I saw them on the first 2 tours and I've been a drummer for 31 years and Dave is without a doubt the best drummer for that band!! Plus the music was better back then when Stone did most of the music writing and Ed did the lyrics. These guitar riffs are Stone all the way!! Bring us back to the beginning guys...or almost the beginning...not the Krusen days but the Dave Abb....days please!!
@theachtungtree - are you a musician or a drummer ? jack plays nonsense drumming what the hell with the trashcan lid ? he is a good motivator & a good friend but technical skills he's crap compared to matt or dave a. and dave k. i'd rather see dave krusen than jack but dave abbruzzese is the best for pearl jam, hear crazy mary based on that dave a. will still fit with PJ's new material he can play softly with all those simple yet technical fills also hear nothingman dave's on it & better man

I'm sorry but u're fully mistaken pal! Dave is not heavy metal drummer!!! He's a skilled techinal drummer above all who fits perfectly in Pearl Jam's music!!! Jack Irons is cool, Matt doesn't work playing Dave's songs!!! So please Dave comeback!!! :)
nope....my vote goes for jack irons to comeback....dave was great but pearl jam needed something else than a heavy metal/hard rock drummer when they entered to record no code & yield....matt's good but he blows balls on pj & he's better with the mighty soundgaden
