  • The focal sword in this episode is certainly not a true claymore. Nor is it the 18th century basket hilted backsword which is often incorrectly called a "claymore" today, and forms a part of Scots dress, military and civilian.

    "Clef D'or" is French for "Golden Key".

    Scottish Gaelic "claidheamh mòr", means "great sword".

    The episode implies that the British pronounce them all the same.
