I personally am a huge fan of Fedor, but I really would like to see a good long fight between the two of them, because I think they are very equal in their abilities, Couture being the smarter fighter, Fedor being the stronger. Pretty much everyone with any sense agrees that Fedor is unmatched in his weight class. There is overwhelming consensus on this.
If somebody wants to spam random nonsense about how he's "so overrated" or make incorrect claims that he only fights weak fighters, let them. There's about as much point in arguing with them as there is in arguing with people who don't believe in evolution.

fedor is over-rated. his record contradicts my previous statement but if you actually watch some of his fights, it doesnt seem that Fedor is all that great. also he strengthens his record by fighting several terrible fighters. im not saying he's bad, im just saying its not like a definite win if he were to fight couture.

I don't really factor Fedor's skill from who he has fought. It's obvious that he's the best because of how good he is at both standup and on the ground, Randy is outmatched in all areas, especially now. Maybe in his prime it would have been an ok fight, but now, Randy would get armbarred in about 3 minutes. But you don't have to believe me, just watch how Fedor's career goes. He has the potential to go down as the greatest mma fighter ever.

I doubt it, Couture and the UFC have been ducking this fight from the get go, making out like they want the fight to happen so they can badmouth Fedor. Fedor offered to fight Randy in UFC as a once off, they turned it down. Fedor beats Sylvia, says in the ring he would like to fight Couture, Couture looked scared, then ran back to the UFC with his tail between his legs and resigned safe from Fedor. Couture vs. Fedor, no matter what happens, Couture will always be respected and treated as the "Godfather of MMA". I personally am a huge fan of Fedor, but I really would like to see a good long fight between the two of them, because I think they are very equal in their abilities, Couture being the smarter fighter, Fedor being the stronger. A great match-up.

I agree that there is a chance that Fedor will end it very quickly, but if Couture plans properly, he can win that fight. Fedor has a weakness, and if Couture can exploit it, he'll do fine. My biggest concern is if they'll do it in a cage or a ring. Probably a ring, in which Fedor will win, quite easily. No cage, no dirty boxing from Randy Couture.

the ring is better,it doesnt allow someone to just wedge you up against the cage,they are forced to fight,and i dont kno what fedors weakness is,some people say that he has a weak jaw but hes only been rocked once and he handled that perfectly and won the fight,so i dont know what the weakness is and ive seen no one find it,i dont see couture winning in any way,i think its overhyped and so is couture

I remember that fight (It was not the Cro Cop fight). He did handle it perfectly, however, his opponent did not capitalize on what he had just done. Fedor looked drunk and was trying to grab on to avoid the next punch. I personally don't think that Couture can hit Fedor hard enough to put him in that bad spot again though. Hell, if Hong Man and Cro Cop couldn't, than Couture doesn't stand a chance in hell. I really don't see Couture being able to mount any sort of offence.

Yes, true, but if your opponent can keep you away with, let's say, a straight front kick, your next option is wild punching. Either way, I think we both agree that Fedor is the much better fighter. If the two of them fought, I would hope for a long fight, but won't be surprised if it ends very quickly.
