I don't know if Diaz regrets the decision now, as Prides dead but I think something to do with him leaving was the crappy rules in UFC that favours wrestling. Japan favours exciting fights. Diaz would have won every single fight he lost in the UFC if they were in Pride, minus the Diego fight. Matt Serra or Hughes would not finish Diaz

I like Diaz and consider him one of my favorite fighters, and I'm not a fan of GSP, but I think you have to be out of your mind to believe that Diaz would beat him. He could possibly, anything's possible, but stylistically, GSP is a terrible match-up for him. Diaz's takedown defense is just awful, GSP has great takedowns, and sub defense. We'd see a 5-round UD win for GSP.

BJ Penn is a better grappler than Nick Diaz, one of the best there is in the sport today is Penn, and GSP didn't get subbed. Who has Diaz subbed who's worth a damn on the ground other than Cyborg, a supposed BJJ black belt? No one. GSP takes a 5-round UD against Diaz. Diaz has had it done to him by guys with worse sub defense than GSP.

haha nick diaz won the gomi, zaromskis, and cyborg fights, got robbed in the sherk and parysian fights, got cut in the KJ fight which he would have won if it had continued. His only loss was the Jeremy Jackson fight. Not much of a lowlight
