@310607mrs I was at the Enmore Theatre myself and I noticed nothing of your silly comments. To see the full house standing ovations from both the lower and the upper levels was amazing. I was next to people who hadn't seen Damien perform before and they were blown away and were going to check out other shows he is doing. People were buying CD's and his books. The queue to see him after the show stretched into the theatre itself from the main lobby.

Why did you go when you dislike him so much?

I went to Enmore Theatre Saturday night to see his Roy concert and boy oh boy what a big let down the famous songs were destroyed by Damien and i witnessed a lot of dissappointed Roy Orbison fans in the audience who were not impressed with Damiens versions.

People were commenting their dissappointment as they left.

Sorry Damien can you please tell your wife that she is trying so hard to be noticed that people are beginning to laugh at her.

Talking while you sing is not a good look.

@310607Mrs This is the lowest you can get to promote your imitator, funny about your comments as I would think, standing ovations and sell out concerts and long line of fans waiting to meet Damien do not add up to your comments. also saw some of this on the morning show and all I could hear was yelling and clapping. Never make personal comments re other people, that is not what this is about. would love to know how you can sing and talk at the same time also.

@310607Mrs I very much doubt you were at the Enmore and if you were I'm not sure you were paying Attention at all.Damien got a standing ovation from the whole theatre at the end of the show and they were lined up for ages to chat with him.Who the hell do you think you are,Damiens wife has never tried to be noticed she is a beautiful easy going lady not that you would know that.I don't know what your agenda is but you need to get over yourself.

@jkdguy1 Barbara Orbison wanted Damien to record these songs! So your comments are completely invalid! Know your facts, before giving your opinion and consider, If it's good enough for Barbara then there is certainly no desecration going on! Perhaps a simple "I prefer the originals" might have been a valid comment.

@trixiedog1000 That is a invalid argument to say that if it's good enough for Barbara then it is alright. Although Damien sings nice, the orginals are far ahead of his versions in every respect. That is also NOT a argument to say that Damian must sing Orbisongs... I think it is a matter of taste. Roy's songs were totally unique to him. That is why I never will go to this sort of shows. If someone wants to, that's alltight with me.

@hartommitch I fully agree Roy Orbison 's hits should be left alone as they were written and performed.As i have stated earlier this year i prefer a complete Roy Orbison experience unfortunately when i saw Damien's versions of the original hits at the Enmore Theatre we were so dissappointed as were others in the audience.

Damien's fans were excited but true Roy Orbison fans were left with an emptiness on the night.Nevertheless Damien has cashed in on Roy's name and music - good luck to him.

In Dreams… She’s a Mystery to Me… so gorgeous! But it doesn’t sound like Roy O because Damo's not being an imitator! He says it so well at 6:04 – he’s putting his own stamp on these Roy classics. I'm really happy it still sounds like Damien - inspired by some really beautiful songs!

And the McClymonts singing Blue Bayou with D - Such a passionately cruisie version (is that really possible? Lol, yes.)

Damien gets to show off his fantastic voice, too. Love his emotion, strength and range!

What an honour to record in the same studio as the Big O and many other famous artists, and to also put together this amazing album with some of the great record producers who knew Roy and his music. Thanks for introducing Roys songs to another generation and allowing his music to live on." Be true to Roy but something separate not a covers album" says it all .

This is wonderful Damien, just love seeing the background to your new Album Roy. Never was much of an Orbison fan, with the exception of a few songs but your CD Roy and the background clips have given me a new appreciation of his music. I have always, however, been a huge fan of you and your amazing voice. Thanks D♥

A lovely look into the making of the album Damien..have never been a huge fan of the big O' but always a fan of yours and you have given me a newer better respect of his music. Some I had to listen to a couple of times before the old memory banks kicked in so now I am really loving the album plays most of the day..lol
