  • Woah this was a real show! Always thought it was some dream I had and wanted them to make a show like this lol.

  • The best show ever? If the answer isn't YES, then it would have to be 'Pretty damned close.'

They managed to make a show out of computer geeks and cheesy jokes that managed to be awesome. I mean, if nothing else, they got the completely-random-yet-somehow-useful character down in Amp. In one episode, he asks if anyone has a clothespin, then he's like "No, wait, I have one" and opens his vest where he's got three for no reason. Big bang theory wanted to be this show, and failed.

  • A hero always makes the cut. Your damn right

  • Tim Curry seems to be always plating a villian.

  • @0:38 "their gonna F it up, kick some gigga butt"... he said F it up..lol

  • @natureboy19831 amp it up u moron. lol ma ass.

  • @natureboy19831 I think he said amp it up. lol

  • i've been searching for this show for years upon years. oh man.

  • @godcharon I know that still wears one. XD But I see what you mean.

  • Megaman NT Warrior makes this old tv show worthless.

  • I used to nark when I saw this show at the blockmbuster.

  • Wow I totally forgot about this awful show. Sorry about the breaks there Joey Lawrence Jr.

  • Go go Power Ra...I mean Teenage Mutant Ninja Tur...I mean Biggg Baddd Beetle Bor....I mean Tattooed Teenage Alien Fight,,,Oh I give up.

  • How original. I'm looking at you too VR Troopers and Big Bad Beetleborgs. For shame.

  • im only watching this video because i saw Matthew Lawrence i was actually watching brotherly love jajaa

  • I used to watch this show. It was like Power Rangers, but they fought viruses inside computers & mechanical stuff. The kids always figure out why a certain computer or machine isn't working - it's a virus & they call upon their powers, go inside their computer & fight the virus inside. F.Y.I - Mathew Lawrence is Joey Lawrence's younger brother. ;)

  • @vidman1976:Yeah for some strange reason, I used to like this show also. It was better than VR Troopers that's for damn sure. God that show was laughable... :-)

  • i remember that show. i was four, but even then i could tell what an aspergian dick the bad guy was.

i also remember that they had this bitching mecha-godzilla thing

  • That intro is just asking me to be my ringtone

  • SWEET SEMEN OF BABY JESUS!!! I MISS THIS SHOW!!! :D

  • I used to love the commercials for this show, wherein the narrator would always assure the audience that the program/product was "samuraized for your protection".

  • oh man i thought i was the only one who ever sa this lol

  • Oh right, this was an actual show....Damn.

  • Ahhh, I remember this. It's like Godzilla for white people... With influences from Saved By The Bell, no less.

  • @0mniscient1 You never saw Gridman, PS Ultraseven is the big one, GOdzilla just got more media in America.

  • Uh...why does the villain they mention in the very beginning look like the Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(The old 80's one, not the new, horrible TMNT)? Am I the only one that thinks this?

  • This show didn't last long,huh?

  • HAHAHA THIS IS LEGEND!

  • I always thought they said "eff it up" so I asked my mom. Scarred for life.

  • Recuerdo esta serie culia, la mina que le gustaba al protagonista era entera de maraca, le calentaba el agua a el y al weon que era su enemigo.

  • dam i feel old now

  • Not exactly Tim Curry's finest hour.

  • @TheGlobalMisfit

I think that Super Human Samurai was based on Ultraman but that's my guess so I could be wrong.

  • @ultimatepower Thanks a lot!

  • Oh my gosh! I haven't seen this intro since late elementary school! Thanks for the upload.

  • back when shows were cool and not horrible

  • My Grandma evey now and then calls on this to mess with me by reminding me about the things i used to do and say while watching this. she's like 'hey michael, remember that show you used to watch when you were little? You know, the one that made you yell 'I'm going in!' ?' Yes, i really did use to do that. I'd stand in front of the tv screen, brace my right arm with my left hand and point my right fist at the screen and then i'd yell "i'm going in!" or "Let's Samuraize guys!"

  • im only here because of vegeta

  • @animechats2 hahahaha i new about this show befor that......in fact i knew everything he listed except for the last one

  • Gridman has better theme

  • Lol all those Future series of the 80s what a time i rember them all im born 1982 and i miss quite a lot of the old series with the technic of today and the storys of the past they really could make good series

  • i grew up with power rangers which is still being ran today i never heard of this i also watched beetleborgs and vr troopers and ultraman tiga which may have been a rip off of this let me know by the way i checked this was not produced by saban

  • When I was 6 yrs old, I had a favorite robot toy. I played with it all the time. Last time I remembered, I left him sitting in my bedroom and I think I forgot to take him before our house was renovated. I am 21 and I did not know what toy it was, so I went on a mini quest over the internet and I guess that toy was super human samurai :')

  • i wish the lawrence brothers made another sitcom show again like they did in the 90's not just one brother but using all 3 brothers joes already in a show with melissa joan hart but it would be awesome if the brothers made their own show again

  • this show was the 1st time i ever heard of matt lawrence and i didn't even know he had two brothers untill their show brotherly love came out

  • @turkboyz I used to think Matt Lawrence was so cute back when I used to watch this show.

  • It's there somewhere in the innards of my memory, i guess I was in 4th grade when I used to watch this. God there were waves of nostalgia surging through me as I watched this right now...

  • THIS WAS GOOD HEY THATS WAT WAS HOT IN THE 90 IM 28 AND I REMEMBER THEM AS IF IT WAS YESTERDAY

  • @TheGlobalMisfit Super Human Samurai Syber-Squad was based on a Japanese show named Denkou Choujin Gridman. All the battle footage was from Gridman.

  • @leodamascuslps Nice. I'll try to look it up now. Gracias!

  • @TheGlobalMisfit Superhuman Samurai is based on a Tsuburaya Productions TV show from the WAY early 90's known as Gridman. It was their attempt at bringing Ultraman Back into play in Japan before Ultraman Tiga came out in 1996 in japan. Which in 2003 got a dub for 4kids productions on FoxBox. Lol

  • Comment removed

  • @TheGlobalMisfit yes mostly everything produced by saban has a japan counterpart.

  • @TheGlobalMisfit It was a Japanese tokusatsu style show called Denkou Choujin Gridman (Lightning Superman Gridman)

  • @TheGlobalMisfit it was based on a japanese show called Denkou Choujin Gridman. It was made by the same people who made all of the Ultraman shows.i recommend looking up the gridman theme, by the way. anyway, cyber squad followed the overall idea of Gridman only they changed one thing. While Servo just comes into being when Sam somehow digitizes for the first time, his Japanese counterpart Gridman already existed on his own. He was alien cop who found his way into our world's digital world.

  • @TheSonofstark Nice, thanks! I looked up a clip of Gridman and noticed there are still teens as main characters of the "real" world. But since you've said Gridman is his own entity and doesn't need the teens to activate him like Sam does Servo, how do they help Gridman in the Japanese series?

  • @TheGlobalMisfit well one, Naoto i think is his name, actually get's pulled into the digital world by and merges with Gridman. Why he needs Naoto to do this, I don't know. The other two design and send him helper programs, just like Sidney does for sam. As a matter of fact, Gridman actually uses a power up program sent by the kids to grow to giant size to fight the monsters.

  • @TheGlobalMisfit It was based on Denkou Choujin Gridman by the same company Tsuburaya Productions.

  • @TheGlobalMisfit it was originally called Gridman from Japan but US took over.

  • @TheGlobalMisfit

Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad was an adaptation of the Japanese tokusatsu series Denkou Choujin Gridman which was produced by Tsuburaya Productions. ^^

  • @TheGlobalMisfit

They did the same thing they did with power rangers that they did with this. They took all the fighting parts from Denkou_Choujin_Gridman and threw in american's for the rest of it.

  • @CrypticApathy Wow that sucks. I wish there was somewhere I could download or find the original DVDs of Gridman and Zyurangers. They're storylines seem a little more interesting and realistic from clips I've seen on here.

  • @TheGlobalMisfit Sorry, its based on Gridman which is an easier name to say.

  • @Wunderwaffen1946 Thank you! Honestly, I never knew that these shows were adapted from Japan till the last few yrs. And checking out a few youtube clips, the originals are much less corny. lol

  • @TheGlobalMisfit It was based off of and used footage from the Japanese tokusatsu series Denkou Chojin Gridman, which was made by the same company that created the Ultraman series.

  • @TheGlobalMisfit its an adaptation of Denkou Choujin Gridman

  • @TheGlobalMisfit "It was an adaptation of the Japanese tokusatsu series Denkou Choujin Gridman which was produced by Tsuburaya Productions." - Wikipedia

I wonder if there are any purely U.S. made ones; it would be interesting to see the little differences they might have :D

  • @TheGlobalMisfit

Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad is based on Denkou Choujin Gridman, an early 90s tokusatsu series with a similar cyberspace-based plot.

  • @TheGlobalMisfit well, most of this is taken from Japanese action shows. The premise is similar to denkou choujin gridman (google it), and then it's all just a mixture of stuff. There is the kaiju genre which deals with all sorts of giant monsters and stuff and the tokusatsu genre which deals with similar type of recording like the power rangers (men in suits fighting through model made cities. Besides, the character servo looks remarkably similar to Ultraman, and that's as far as I recognize.

  • I still have all the main character toys I still love the combination of Servo and Drago the best.

  • The only thing I remember from this show is the intro and HATING Glen Beaudin's character. Mostly because of his looks.

  • Im 33 and I forgot about this lol Joey Lawrence little bro another of the brothers also had a little show for Saturday morning about this kid with a robot his inventor grandpa made along with a machine to make charters from books to come to life it was entertaining XD

  • @jedispaz2002 27 isn't old you dumb ass, you are young as heck, americans are so mediocre and stupid

  • That's some classic, "Turning slightly to one side and smiling" going on there guys.

  • eto png tapat ng GMA 7 s power rangers dati ng ABS CBN

  • This was my show as a kid. I was always a Power Rangers fan but in the 90s at least you had a variety of live action shows to watch, this along with VR Troopers is one of them.

I used to have the deluxe Servo figure and I was waiting for my parents to buy me the other machines but when I was in third grade I let some dumbass kid play with my Servo toy and he broke the goddamn arm and it was worthless :(.

I still hate that kid with a passion til this day!

  • *Twangs guitar* "Let's samuraize, guys!"

I loved it. Even though the introduction with the credits of the actors, it and the music, always made me think of Saved By the Bell, or Blossom lol

    :-p

  • Horrible. But STILL better than "tatooed teenage alien fighters from beverly hill". Thats the REAL name of the show!!!!

  • How the hell did I ever think this was cool did someone put crack in my food! !!! I demand to know who let this crap ever see the light of day he or she should be shot in the privates ,then tied to a car and dragged thought the streets this shit sucks ass

  • @rasheedqw you thought it was cool when you were a kid because you were more real then and not as easily biased, then you became a fake poser who no profile pic and became cyber bully who rotted in their own self pity and whiny emo crap. such is the consequence a fake poser faces when they grow up in life. that's what makes real people like me different from people like you, it takes a very long time for me to determine what is cool and when i do its always cool regardless of what year it is.

  • can't resist liking in the first 3 seconds

  • suuuppper human Samurai!

  • wow Tim Curry!

  • i still got one of the action figures from this series.... this was my shit besides Power rangers

  • havent seen this how since it was on the air, and wow i can still sing the theme, worst power ever

  • I was born in '90 and I do remember this show! Insane how I had completely forgot about it, and I used to like it a lot... I guess Power Rangers took all the room there was in my memories!

  • this is my second time commenting on this ... because i had a dream about haha

  • thumbs up if you were born really late 80's - really early 90's, grow up a "90's kid" and still remember classic show's like this.

  • @americacampeon10 I was born in the early '80s and I consider myself a '90s kid.

  • @americacampeon10 i had the toy but kinda hated it becouse the damn action figure only moved the arms

  • @americacampeon10 1984 RAISE IN THE 90'S AND REMEMBERING SPECIALLY CAPTAIN POWER!!!

  • @americacampeon10 what's strange is that out of nowhere i just started singing this song in my head and i have no friggin idea what triggered this memory

  • WOW FUCKING NOSTALGIA WHOA! this is retro now?! god i'm old.

  • you know seriously it has taken me like 5 years to finally find out the name of this, ah man watching this when i was little just brings it all back

  • I couldn't remember the name of this to save my life! Nostalgia flooding the brain.

  • I'm 22 and used to love this show. when we moved last year I found my old servo and drago figures. needless to say I put them together to create phormo haha

  • So this is the reason why my computer kept crashing during the mid 90's?

  • I remember this show!! I think I have a VHS of it somewhere. Off to go look for it.

  • wow I don;t remember this at all. What year was this?

  • @PhillyGirl1 1994. The 90s kicked all the ass in the world, with awesome shows like this!

  • @Ofaliss1 I 100000% Agree With You PhillyGirl :-)

  • @PhillyGirl1 '94-'95

  • ahhhh some childhood memories...

  • Power Rangers was better but the theme sons of SHSSS was much better.

  • this scared the shit out of me as a kid

  • OMG i was just thikin about this theme song at work today i think youtube is reading my mind!

  • This was nowhere near as good as "VR Troopers"; however, I did enjoy the acting of Glen Beaudin (Malcolm).

  • @NewYorkS4U

I remember back in the day where Syber Squad aired 6 days a week in my area. Syndication back to back with VRT Mon to Fri...then ABC Saturday Mornings.

...that and I found Troy Slaten pretty funny in this series. I remember back when he was in Parker Lewis Can't Lose.

  • damn! i used to watch this when i was a little kid.

  • Lol I remeber watching this every morning along the Conan cartoon awesome btw

  • beetleborgs? vr troopers power rangers super santai super human samarai syber squad[what the hell] dragon knight mystic knights captain power disney power rangers nick power rangers sabans masked rider freakazoid Tatooed Teenage Alien Fighters From Beverley Hills super ultra squad and something that starts with a c im right its so much ranger series saban's power rangers might morphan to samarai is the best and so is disney
  • gay pr is btter

  • Gotta love this mid-1990's children's TV series!!!

  • i did like this show when it was out. At one point I thought this was like a sequel to Ultraman or something. lOl

  • @kplord This was in that weird period between Towards the Future and Tiga. It pretty much is the Ultra show for that period, only, you know, it doesn't have "Ultra" in the title.

Sort of like Mirror Man or Bioplanet WoO, a non-Ultra Ultraman show, if that makes any sense.

  • matthew lawrence though smh....lmao

  • horrible jus horrible

  • There was NOTHING samurai about their team so why call it samurai?

  • I thought it was going to say

    "They turn into: NORTON ANTIVIRUS!"

  • So basically, its power rangers crossed with feakazoid?

  • 0:38 am I hearing that right??? "they're gonna 'eff it up!"

  • @gruntfan91

    I think....you heard it right.....O.o

  • @gruntfan91 "They're gonna amp it up"

  • nostalgia critic should review this show

  • the 90s were good times for me though i can only remember bits and pieces this show and mighty morphing power rangers and beetleborgs

  • tim curry was the first choice for btas joker. wonder how will he sounds.....

  • God I used to watch this every morning before school.

  • Class of '03 dropouts in the building!

  • ah, the 90's. The best decade everz!

  • idk why but they should remake this

  • lol this is really a series? xD

  • wow, i completly forgot about this show til now. wow, im 27, wow, im old, lol
