I used to be a mainstream mormon, and I must say that this is the best explanation of the "Adam-God" doctrine I ever heard... never understood as well as I do now. Still don't believe it, however!

So, there is multiple Godheads, but the Godhead of Mormonism didn't form until after the life of Adam? Why does God go by the same name during Adam's life as when Adam became God the Father? I have been reading articles by Mormon Fundamentalists and their discussions of the nature of God make more sense to me than what Anne is saying, that's all.

Listen, I do not agree with Mormon doctrine, LDS or not. But this woman is beautiful and smart and also, in her own way, very accepting of others' opinions and beliefs. I don't like the teachings of any Mormon church, but I absolutely love this woman.

Anne B. Wilde is a very interesting person. I don't think she would every hurt anyone or be part of an organization that did. I just don't agree with much of what she says. I don't understand how God/Adam/Michael could possibly be the same entity. How did Jesus and the Holy Spirit get bumped from the Holy Trinity? That being said, I absolutely do believe in the freedom of religion as long as children and teens aren't being hurt.

Joseph Smith was born very poor but diplomatic. Having this skill, he had with people, he used this skill to manipulate people to his own ends. He saw religion as a true way to not only become somebody, but ultimately as a means to gain wealth.

Why was it easy for Brigham Young and his followers to believe God came as Adam but not see how God could come as Jesus? What makes LDS believe in JS and BY over a well translated bible? My point which I failed to make was that the speaker here ignores the fact that young girls are being traded as property amongst the elders and raped. Young boys are cast out in the streets to fend for themselves.

It seems to me that if equal rights are wanted, equal responsibilities are required. Legal marriages are part of that, regardless of whether she would want them. Gay couples, having equal rights, ought to have that first, second, third, etc. certificate this group desires.

Speaking as a non-Christian with an academic interest in theology, I thought this was a really well-structured interview- the interviewer does a great job of asking good questions without dominating the process, and I thought Anne was excellent at explaining her beliefs in a way that a non-believer can follow (which I know can be really hard).
