funk is in the ear of the beholder i guess. this doesn't make me want to dance at all. i'd call this "soul". funky to me = funky tamazula by nortec collective, jungle fever by the chakackas, dazz by brick, or even the funky corner by mc zorb here on youtube. funky = a hard skipping beat like those jams to me. i'm NOT dissing this track. it just doesn't make me wanna break.
