THIS is the stuff I loved in Dead Space. I actually think there wasn't enough of it... once the initial horror wears off, it's more "shoot-jumpscare-shoot-shoot" and I really wish they'd NOT given you such powerful weapons (wimpy rock saw vs Necromorphs for me, not super-ultra-plasma-cutters-tha­t-cleave-everything-in-two while wearing full armor!). When it did atmos, it did it well, but unlike a lot of folks, I wasn't that scared after about halfway into the game when I was toting an arsenal!
