Did you swim out to them or did they just appear while you were out swimming?

We went out on purpose to swim with Basking Sharks. We swam from the boat out to them and stopped where we thought was in their path - looks like we were right. About 5 sharks in the video but we could see loads more out to sea. They stayed around in huge numbers for about a week and then disappeared just as suddenly as they arrived.
