I seems that Ray is just not very intelligent, he has his script and can't deviate from it. As soon as he is talked into a corner, he turns to another page.
this was utterly brilliant. all ray did was concede to the fact that you guys are right and he just cherry picks what sounds good to his credulous minions in order to make a buck. or millions ,... he is a ghoul.
Given how asinine Ray Comfort's rhetoric has been thus far, if I didn't know better, I would think that Ray is just some troll articulating stupid arguments for laughs.
Mr. Comfort your analogy about the plane is incorrect. What you actually have is a plane that is perfectly stable, and the passengers, Matt and Russell, are rational enough to believe that the plane is perfectly fine. Then you have a lunatic passenger by the name of Ray, who heard from another lunatic passenger who flew on that plane decades ago, that plane rides are dangerous, and that you should jump out of the plane using an imaginary parachute.
I don't think Ray was expecting for Matt to be so knowledgeable about the Bible. Matt practically refuted everything Ray said about slavery, when Ray tried to whitewash it. What is funny is that only AFTER Matt revealed Ray's false views on how much better slavery was during Biblical times, did Ray admit that Matt was right. Does this mean that if Ray was arguing with someone ignorant of the Bible, that he would exclude these facts? Yes. Does that mean he is intellectually dishonest? Yes!
Ray precludes the emergence of the universe ex nihilo and the emergence of life without an intelligent designer because his experience tells him that everything “designed” has a designer. I ask Ray has he ever seen any designer (i.e. human) who has no preexisting cause (i.e. parent) or seen a designer create anything WITTHOUT preexisting material? The answer is no. Hence, by using the same power of inference that Ray is arguing from, he must preclude the existence of an uncaused God!
By Ray Comfort's logic, since the Constitution has changed since its inception, it, like science, cannot be relied upon. Oh...I have even a better one. The Bible has changed Ray! Remember there was a time when the Bible consisted of only the first 5 books of the Old Testament and then progressively more books were added to make our Old Testament, and then the New Testament was added to that. So by Ray's own logic, since the Bible has been augmented, it cannot be relied upon. Ray you FAIL!
Mr. Comfort, just because science changes its conclusions to accommodate new evidence, is not an indication of its falsehood. It is an indication that it is an endeavor that is striving for the truth. Just because science changes its conclusion about the how old the earth and the universe is, does nothing to discredit science. By the way, as we progress, it should be noted that science moves further and further away from the time scale promoted by Biblical literalists, NOT closer to it!
Mr. Comfort, just because we cannot fully explain how the universe began, or just because we cannot fully explain how life emerged, doesn't lend credence to the idea that universe and life were created by God. All it proves is that we don't know. If I can't explain how my car starts up in the morning, that doesn't allow a person who believes in elves to say: "Look, your inability to explain your car starting proves that magical elves are starting your car, thus proving the existence of elves".
If Ray Comfort believes that nothing can create itself, thus necessitating a designer then he must also preclude his divine designer (i.e. God) because by definition his existence doesn't require an antecedent cause or designer. If you can just willy nilly ignore that God can exist without a cause or designer, even though he is by definition really complex, then why can't we say that the universe doesn't necessitate a cause or designer?
The banana on the tables speaks volume, no introduction needed. What follows afterward is a bunch of 'banana' logic and non-sequiter after another

You can see the bruises growing on their foreheads as they bang their heads against the brick wall.
Ray is NEVER going to say anything that will upset his applecart, his company makes millions from selling this crap.
