This song was composed in 1958 and corresponded with a time period when Jeannie, as presented here, had pneumonia after a nieghbour had sprayed her with ice winter/spring slush as she walked several miles to school after she had missed her school bus as presented by Canadian police files. The song, however, was not recorded to much later.

There's not a dud on that 1st album of hers. That's the only one I have. If you don't have it then get it- as it will be one of your most played I assure you.

Jeannie C. Riley is a class act lady, and a great great country music singer. She is missed, but loved greatly. I wish young Country/Nashville has as much class as her and her generation of musicians.

AWESOME Peformance by Jeannie C., How beautiful and cool was Jeannie! Jeannie was was as good or better than she had ever been when this song was released, how ironic it would turn out to be her final single released... how we miss not seeing Jeannie C.
