  • Yo man, great song. You had a nice flow, and a well thought out message. So profound, I love it man. Keep it up!

  • John Piper gets it!

  • I wonder if there are any black people that are members of the church.

  • whose the artist and name of song?

  • wwwwwoooooooooooooooooooo!!!! That's what I'm talking about!!! Through Christ Jesus I'm Unstoppable that I may BOAST in HIM and not MYSELF!! Thank YOU CURTIS for that WORD!!! Be BLESSED and always VICTORIOUS in HIM

  • Nice homey. Keep it up!

  • This man, is a walking blessing. The Father has been an instrument in his movement. Lets all take this step in our own talents and lives.Praise the living God who is the great I AM! Yesterday, today, and forever!

  • Haven't heard of this guy before... awesome message, awesome flow... God is indeed raising many of us as His end time ministers. Praise be to God.

  • Praise God for the lyrical and musical gifts that He has given our brother Curtis Allen, I hope "Voice" will come and visit Minnesota again soon!! But next time come on over to St. Paul and down south to Bloomington, this message needs to be spread around!

  • thats the realest gospel rap i heard may God bless you bro jesus is lord

  • wow... its amazing who religious traditions are being broken in the church, i would have never thought i'd see something like this happen in a Baptist church.......amazing...God bless

  • lol, I didn't know John piper enjoyed Rap.

  • Thank you Voice for your wonderful testimony in song. There was a time in my life when I was not right right with God. I struggled with sin, and I got into lots of trouble. Rap music was a big part of my life back then. It fueled my anger and aggression.

Voice, it brought tears to my eyes to hear you rap about the wonderful grace of God. The same grace that has done a wonderful work in my life. Thank you again for using your gift to serve God.

  • John Piper looks nervous.

  • I like your flow. Way to reach out to those who find it hard to relate.

  • thanks man i appreciate that! This was a crazy day. so much has happened since then. If you are interested check out "a theist" on iTunes and Amazon. New album just released! again thanks for your comment

  • This is great!

  • Thanks for your support for Voice rapping @ John Piper's church! If u r interested Voice has released a new CD entitled " a theist" on Itunes and Amazon.

  • The Jews are still "special". Salvation is open to all now but they are still God's chosen people. We gentiles are grafted in to God's covenant with them by the new covenant of Christ's blood.

  • Keep it Up! Don't Stop doing what you do. Keep it going for God.

  • People don't know that when Hymns first came on the scene it was rejected. They called them blasphemous and worldly and they said that God couldn't get any glory from it.

They said that about Hymns.... Same thing about Gospel Rap. Theres nothing wrong with it at all.

People are just caught up in Traditionalism, and don't want to let go.

  • I hate rap but I love this. Seriously. I love it. God bless you, Mr. Unstoppable!

  • your hilarious, man you must be one angry person. God Bless.

  • It's all a cult, based on recycled myth. Get the facts at GodvstheBible d com

  • And what atheistic culture would you want to live in? N Korea? Cuba? Maybe Maoist China? Pick one and get back to me, would you?

  • ...

  • christanity is the best of all.. jesus christ is the best ever.. god bless you for this clip.. bethlehem is the most beautiful city in the world. i am proud that i am christian

  • Hi,

    Father Jim Finnerty here

I hope you people all know that the Baptist church is a false teachhing and that God hates you.

If you'd like to hear more you can check out my sermons on my page.

    -Father Jim

  • LAnotBoston, I challenge you to Biblically make that argument. Show me passages of scripture, in context, that makes your argument. I can promise you that you can't. You'll bring tradition and works, and catholic theology, but bring an educated biblical argument. It's cowardly to leave a post like you did without some substance.

  • Educated Bible Arguement? I'm a PREIST? Substance? Have you even WATCHED any of my sermons on my page? I will let those speak for themselves. You have no idea how silly you are making yourself look right now.

  • lol...your arrogance as a catholic verses this little protestant is so funny. So what if you are a priest? I'm a child of the living God by his grace, and I cry Abba Father to my sovereign Lord based on the merit of Christ and CHRIST alone. I reject papal authority because Christ is the head of the church, and not ANY man. Period. The end. Christ wins. Let Christ get the glory alone without the distortion of the papacy.

  • i present a challenge to you s well sir,i am a born again Christian.i have well studied the catholic church and its tradition and dogma from vatican itself.its nothing but a CULT!!

  • Buddy, look up the definition of a cult.

If Catholicism is a cult, what the hell does that make your tiny minority fringe group of crazies?

All religion must be a cult. It certainly is all bullshit.

  • I don't even beleive in God so I really don't care. I was just trying to get people to watch m y standup routine. I can't beleive anyone was ever dumb enough to think I was serious.

  • yeah, I just checked out your page and saw that. However, you should know that mocking God is a serious matter and one day you will face the king. I know you don't care, but my heart breaks for you. I pray God shows you mercy because you really need his grace.

  • just a while guess but ur an sda ain't u.

  • amen,im with u all the way!!

  • Baptist church don't have mary as the head of there church. so how are they a false church.

  • Because they are fake and new, jesus did not create the baptist church.

  • amen,im with u on this 4 the most part. are u affiliated w/ any particular denomination?

  • Or it's true.

  • What a dipshit, christianity is a doomed superstition.

  • great...what is the title of this..?can anyone tell me..? thanks..

  • This is a good argument for singing the Psalter. This is just another declension from reverent worship that we have experienced for the last 40 years. This is nothing less than compromise with the world, the flesh and the devil. So I'm in the minority. So be it.

  • This guy sounds great and with good theology.

    Awesome!

  • God bless you brother. Keep it up and know that we're listening.

  • I dislike rap as a cultural phenomenon, but Curtis "rapped" the truth about Almighty God, and I love my brother's confession. I have reservations about rap's beat and sound being conducive to the teaching of doctrine (informing the mind), which engenders this awe and joy, but, as we see here, it's great for personal testimony and affirmation of truths already received. May God bless Curtis's faith and music for His glory.

  • I loved it! Where can we get the cd?

  • (part 3) I would love to see this guy in our church! Man, we need guys that can sing good and sound theology, no matter is it Rap or blues. I hope that all his songs are like this! I listened to one online saying something like: "Not going to church is a sin!" I didn't hear that from pulpit in a long time (!), not to mention songs. Man you ROCK, I mean RAP :-)

  • (part 2) Also, the words are the ones that in a way santifies the music. I think that Christian Rap is an awsome way to share the message with the unbelieving word. This song, for instance, is deeper devotionally and theologically than 99% of choruses that we sing today in our churches. I don't listen to RAP a lot, but I like this guy. I like Piper too.

  • Christian Rap? If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature...old things are passed away, behold all things shall become new.

  • Well, Paul is talking about sin, not about RAP, especially not about RAP that glorifies God. I mean, even Wesley's songs were once sang in the Taverns and were sang by drunkards. It didn't stop him to write good christian songs that we sing today.

  • anywhere i could get the mp3 file for this song?

I've never of heard of this guy before... he's great!

  • John Piper entertains the greatest of all cultures and people...I love this artist

    who is he?...

  • I was there.. It was amazing.

    I can't even explain it.

  • I love the fact that Piper did this at his church, awesome.

  • Sweet.. I'm a Voice fan. That dude is blessed! =)
