Oh no TheNativekatdancer- that is so sad... When I was six, there was a death in my family and I was really out of it. Very sad. My mom noticed it, talked to dad, and my brothers and sisters. They decided we would get a dog to cheer us up. So sure enough, a Basset was on the top of the list. Our little Basset was just so cute and loved all of us so much-maybe more important, she kept us all in stitches. My mom just passed away after a bout with cancer. I hope she's with our little basset.
