It is hard to believe that an American could move with such grace. I had to think about it. I am American and I learned to cook Pakistani with good skill so I can believe an American can learn to dance with good skill. EAST MEETS WEST!! BOOO!!
This dance genre was unfortunately limited to so called kharabaatiz and I don't think there are many afghans that can dance like her. Note how zange paayesh follows the music and how she shows every word of the song with her performance.... Amazing dancer and actor.
LOL ma megom JERT...believe me she IS american if u like it or not...because i saw the interview...pretty amazing dancing skills ha, for an american. I know hard to believe
I suspect you have not been looking in the right places if you are under the (false) impression that Americans are lacking the skills to dance gracefully. It is sad to note that with the homogenizing effects of globalization, the US is one of the few places where pretty much all cultures are represented and their unique heritages of dance, cuisine etc are preserved by native and immigrants who want them to live on. Thanks for the post!
