  • sounds like a funeral mourning bell...

  • erinnert mich irgendwie an top-spin vom jahrmarkt

  • That type of bells we have in spain. I know it because i' m a spanish person and the cathedral of madrid, has 8 bells bigger than this.

  • Round and Round She Goes! Where she stops, nobody knows! XD

  • Oh in sure the townsfolk just LOVED to hear that for two minutes straight! ; )

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • OMG this is a strange & funny bell

  • j'adoooore!!!! :)

  • @senonais tres certainement oui !

  • Cool!! 5/5

  • hahahaha its flipping

  • @MultiDollar1234 That's the word: flipping. Thank you.

  • @carillonoccitan your welcome

  • Nice to watch, but absolutely not nice to hear.

  • @armrein It is true that a bell is not made to be heard nor recorded so close!

  • @pianistdu74 Fa#3 ;)

  • @pierrot708 autant pour moi :P

  • :(:(;(

  • A sur a klump!

  • Where was this?

  • @XenaAmazon Near Toulouse, France.

  • @carillonoccitan Ohhh, lol. Is it a church bell?

  • @XenaAmazon Yes, it is.

  • @carillonoccitan That's what I thought, lol. Catholic?

  • @XenaAmazon Absolutely

  • @carillonoccitan Lol, cool. Cheers :)

  • @XenaAmazon You're welcome.

  • is this bell on a motor?? Because i heard a "beep" I just thaught it was.....Write back tnanks.

  • @whelen4004 Indeed, nevertheless the beep comes from a walkie-talkie.

  • what as wrong whith bell ??

  • @lillecool93 Nothing.

  • that's why i said IMAGINE.

  • @dimitridabrowski Okay, but change the last words in: "COULD be quite spectacular" then.

  • imagine that bell all of the sudden get loose. and away she flies right into the roof of that house in the background. must be quite spectaculair .

  • @dimitridabrowski There is no known example of any bell getting loose : it is pure imagination.

  • @carillonoccitan but scary imagination nonetheless...800 kg is a surprising amount of mass!

  • @siebenhens Imagine then when they had to move... 2t + 2t of wood that way, manually...

  • e beiim legal tbm e quase da meesma forma dakii so q usamos da nossa foorça pra revirarmos ele!

  • hey i want one of those at MY HOUSE

  • @wille201 What about your neighbours...

  • @carillonoccitan Sorry. I didn't think about that!!!

  • Neignhbours may have guns...

  • really funny!

  • @michl849 And pretty cool.

  • Pauvre lapin a coté

  • @pianistdu74 C'est juste une poche...

  • Paccard...

  • You are right.

  • That thing will wake the dead. I have no doubt in my mind:):):):):):)

  • Ich finde es nicht so toll !

    2 *

  • @HistorischeGlocke What do you mean? you do not trust the images?

  • Hahahaha cool.

  • @XenaAmazon N'est-ce pas ?

  • @carillonoccitan J'aime cloches, lol :)

  • No, bells are cast in bronze, not brass.

  • as interesting as this i, it must be very loud when you are right next to it.

  • @halo3masterchieff Absolutely: it is intended for people out of the village.

  • There was a 1950's movie, "The Littlest Hobo", set in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. One scene depicted a Blessing of the Animals scene before the church known as La Parroquia. All the bells in the church's two towers were rolling, just like in this video. It was quite an impressive sight.

  • I think it's better swinging in the opposite direction.

  • @jowannabee8 :)

  • not as nice like "die pummerin"

  • apart from this bell as there are other bells in the tower?

  • I don't know. They should be at least 3, probably 5, maybe up to 15 ? I have to go and see.

  • Moreover, it is not a tower but a simple wall, with "windows" hosting one or two bells each. For a complete (small) carillon, the littlest bells are hung behind the wall.

  • You can see many other "bell-walls" on the website indicated in the abstract (upper right), page: "clochers-murs".

  • by whom and in what year was merged?

  • I guess it's Paccard the same year: 2006.

  • Is this bell brand-new or something??

It looks really shiny and all.

  • Yes, I think it's a brand new installed bell. You can see prints of the tuning inside.

  • Alors bienvenue !

  • I often pictured a bell doing this! But I never thought they actually do that sometimes

  • I hope this comment because "Yucatan" (means: I don't understand)...

  • non mi piace!

  • LOL HHAHA

  • Tzis is not "lol"

  • Wonderful!! Wonderful!!

  • thats fanastic

  • originale come sistema...ok

  • who is the bellcaster?

  • Paccard, I guess.

  • that looks one mean bell

  • Belle cloche.

  • man are we easily amused or what

  • double striking. i think its up wrong! :D

  • beautiful bell, singing bell realm on dominant tones

  • "When I said keep the bells rolling I didn't mean literally!"

  • "woo hoo!"

  • Is it an electric bell??

  • If you mean moved thanks to an electrical engine, yes.

  • Unlike most Spanish or (ugh!) Mexican bells, this bell is well tuned and doesn't require a deafened daredevil to turn it by hand.

  • Hmm, I wonder long that bell will last....

  • If you now think that bells are tolled like this I have to disapoint you... this only happens in spain, and her FORMER colonies...

  • Please come and visit us in France and appreciate your mistake.

  • let me say it over.... Spain... formar colonies of spain... italy and southern france... ;)

  • It's humour then... If not, I don't know for Italy, but here we have never seen any Spanish guy with weaponry. Can you tell the same in Netherlands ?

  • Italy?

No bells in Italy ring like that!

  • No this isn't funny, it's religious coolness ^^

  • funny woow turning around :P
