this trail sucks it took 4 of us around a 1 hour and 15 min to finish easy side and 2 to finish the "hard" side i was riding a highy modded z400 and only scraped bottom a few times i dont know how you guys think you can destroy a quad there? we were really disappointed with the trail! we finished the day with marienvilles bike trail!!
WOW! Love Rocky Gap. Wish I still had a quad to ride up there! The easier side is awesome just because you can really let lose and fly. But me and my cousin did the hard side pretty quick a few times. Me on my old modded Warrior and him on his modded YFZ450. Really miss ridin this trail. Also liked the Marienville system to spend a day just cruisin all day. But Rocky Gap was def. the favorite and closest to my camp. I need a quad! Haha.
I had a great time there. We only rode Marienville and Timberline.Plus I finished off one day on the bike trail, which I will do again.Wish it was a little closer than home. Can't wait to go back.Might try to round up a group for the Tour De Forest in the spring.
Ciprich211 is right -- Rocky Gap is 500x better on a bike (pedal or motor). The hard side might destroy your wheeler unless you get some decent underside protection or are some kinda very careful rider. Youre forced to crawl because its the hardest public ATV trail around here. The easy side is also a treat. Not as technical but it has 3-5 foot berms that are in prime condition at all times. Theres alot of camping/picnic spots and rocks to climb on the easy side too.
I have skid plates, first thing I bought. Also bought a set of Maxxas Radial Bighorns. They are taller than the ACTs,maybe a 1 1/2".That helped out with some of the ground clearance problems.Going to be riding for two days, maybe three. Can't wait
We were two up on all the trails , lots of big rocks ,skid plates are a must ,we may of had damage to wheeler if we didnt have them.Had lots of fun, RIDE SAFE
Wow thanks for the video.Looks like alot of fun out there. How would rate the trails?I am planing on going in a few weeks for the first time.See you have a Can-Am Max ,I have a 800 Max XT.Will be riding two up .Think it will be a problem?

Some other great trails around Warren, PA:
Willow Bay ATV (secluded, technical, near Kinzua Dam)
Marienville ATV (popular, technical, long)
Timberline ATV (popular, fast, flat, wide)
Youngsville/Sugar Grove snowmobile/ATV (mud pits, steep, longest)
Warpen/Morrison Run snowmobile/ATV (fast, wide)
Most of these trail bases are hard-pack (60%), sand (15%), and sandstone (25%).
