  • im thinking about getting a guinea pig with that cage can you like buy 2 and connect them

  • lol my guinea pigs knock over the bowl all the time!

  • Oh, and also, thanks for the brick idea!! my guineapig ALWAYS tips the food dish!! :]

  • im going to build this exact cage for my two piggies! thanks for the video!<3

  • Cool video I'm getting two new girl guinea pigs later in the year and putting them in a hutch should I use bedding or fleece because I like fleece but I like bedding but I would really like ur answer so yeah ....

  • @guineapigmaster100

If you get a hutch make sure you have a cover because it can get really cold. Its really best to have a c&c cage though. Bedding is really a preference thing, you either like one or the other.. I love fleece because its easily cleaned and looks nice. Also, its warmer and does have any dust which can cause a lot of problems (:

  • Mrcrazygirl33625 u can get it at any hardware store like homedepo in the USA

  • you should do on vif=d on fleece vs bedding

  • Luv it

  • where do u get the coroplast

  • do u put anything solid under the fleece

  • @TheRezwar v.v

  • theRezwar fleece is a fabric that you can use for guineapig bedding and not that cu up paper stuff as u can see in the video ------

  • I can't find the coroplast anywhere I love in the US please help me!!

  • Oh My God this is like the sweetest thing I have ever seen, your cage is so pretty!!

and you even have a place to put all their fabrics, and by the way the fabrics are really beatiful

    congratulations!!

You are indeed a great guinea pig mom!! =D

  • Lola looks like a little sheep! Shes so cute!!!

  • u should get a mini vacume for the poop it makes cleaning much faster....

  • Wow thats a girly cage

  • @mrjojoua1430 thanks

  • where can i get a cage with a loft?

  • @bluehorse712 build it(:

  • @bluehorse712 yep you can build your own. :)

  • @bluehorse712 You can buy ferret ones (I dont recommend) or build your own c&c out of a shelfing/storage unit i saw at kmart.

  • I recently got two guinea pigs! What do u suggest for their cage a C&C cage or a regular one?

  • @middle11singer Get a c&c cage! You can make them much bigger than the store bought ones. Also try to make it as big as possible. The minimum for boys is 2x4 but I don't know what the minimum for girls is.. Oops. Anyway I hoped this helped :D

  • @ilovemygpiggies the only problem is i still need to find out how much money is needed for the C&C cage.

  • where did you get the grids

  • Your Cage Is Very Colourful!!! I Love It. :)

  • @thanks

  • where did u get the cage from???

  • @misskms1 I order 2 2x4 C&C cages from Guineapigcages(dot)com

  • the cage looks great:-)

i love you guinea pigs their so cute:-)

    x

  • @98emilyjane Thanks!!

  • this is so awesome!!! do u think it would support a mini rex rabbit if i put the wall higher? how did you make the loft?

  • @RabbitTips101 if you put higher walls then yes it could work. Everything just snaps together. Sorry probably not very helpful.

  • i love the cage its awesome

  • @sweetpielemonad Thanks

  • where did you get your cage from how much did it cost and can you put a top on it because i have cats and dogs

  • love it so much

  • @ryan2ooooo Thanks!!

  • My cage is going to look a lot like this! It's gonna be a 2 x 5 with a 2 x 2 kitchen area and 2 x 2 loft. Since my pigs are in a store bought cage now it's gonna be a BIG change!

  • @thatuglyducking That sounds like a awesome cage!

  • where do you get your fleece?

  • @Aly823 Jo-anns

  • @popcornpalacegirls is tht a real guinea pig at the top on the folder lol x

  • do you have to cover the cage? or will they climb out?

  • Love that fleece (the bottem one) looks so cool

  • wow its huge xD i only have pig and i'm going 2 buy myself another one, i cudn't clean all that though x3

  • y really love it

  • I love ur cage! Mine is HUGE! i need it cuz i have 20 guinea pigs. bottom is 11 ft by 5 ft second is 7ft by 5ft by 3 ft by 3ft by 2ft by 10 ft then 3rd story is 4ft by 3ft but 3rd story is really kinda the mating room. then on second story i have a lil room for guinea pigs that are preg. i have all kinds of stuff. so when i take them outside i boarded where they can go cuz so many of them. i love them ALL! and i clean it every 3 days cuz its so big. and i have every single color and hair style!

  • What bedding materials do you use? Is it just fleece?

  • @harmany281 Fleece on top and towels underneath

  • @popcornpalacegirls but wouldn't the towels be soaked with their pee? Then how often do u have to change it?

  • @harmany281 I change it once a week and the towels are never soaked with pee. I have a layer of two towels under the fleece.

  • @popcornpalacegirls Oh. Then is it okay if i put pee pads below the fleece instead of towels? Which is better?

  • @harmany281 Yes you can use them too. Alot of people do. I havent use them myself. They both work the same.

  • where do u get the cage stuff from

  • punk girl haha

  • wow ur piggies r so well looked after but i cant afford a cage like that even if u put the prices im british born and bred so i use £ not $ so there

  • do you no where i can buy the materials in the uk????

  • WOW! Great cage lots of room to play and run around in! But how do u clean it it takes up alot of room? U should make a vid about that. Very cute pigs love them

  • @harveycarlton i have updated this cage. i have a video on that and how to clean it. it does take up some room and takes some time to clean.

  • Wow what an amazing layout! I love the set up. (Lol cute names to.) The wallpaper idea is so awesome. I really want to make one for my future hedgehog... but Im not sure I want it to big but I just cant get over the awesome layout of the cage. You did an un describable word on this cage! :)

  • @powerwashinchick thanks

  • you treat your pigs like royalties. they are so cute. (:

  • Can guinea pigs climb out of a C and C cage?

  • @rehgirl1 no i havent heard of anyones piggies climbing out.

  • how did you make that cage!?

  • No i didn't cut any grids just the corplast which is very easy to do!

  • is it hard to cut of bend the grids?

  • no its just like a bin lol plasic

  • but two are babies and also when i got too guinea pigs i thought they were both females but nope and they had to babies dont know if they boy or girls lol

  • Is that 2 feet by 6 feet or 2x6 C&c cage?

  • my guinea pigs cage is only 2 feet by like 6 or more inches and i have 4 pigs is that good or bad?

  • @10bigcat as long as all of them have room to run and get excersize it is could

but if u take them out to run about twice a day u dont have to make it bigger

  • were do u get the c&c thing

  • i luv ur cute piggies and ur cage!! My piggies are adorable. Im hoping to get a C&C cage for them, cuz they are starting to outgrow their cage. Was it hard for u to find a C&C cage??

  • Where did u buy the grids? In america?

  • Yes i got them through Walmart. I've heard you can go to bath and beyond to get them also.

  • I got locked out of my account so i wasnt able to see that people commented on this video. I no longer have this set up. I plan on making a new video soon. Thank you all!

  • Really cool job on the cage but how do you keep it clean...where do they do their "business" lol

  • tinker bell is so gorgeouse i love her tinly little nose!!!! :)

  • Thank you!!

  • I want one so badly! I haven't asked my mom yet but i hope she says yes! I already have names! I love April and Sonny....But i also love Reeses and Cinnimon

  • i love ur cage where did u buy ur grid pices

  • i love this and ps where did u buy ur coroplast

  • that is one gigantic cage. i love the little play area and the slide. adorable.

  • do u have a piggybedspread?

  • how many cubes did u use all together coz thats a great cage!!! :D

  • Nic1, I HIGHLY advise you to keep your rabbit and guinea separate. Rabbits require a limited-pellet diet and cavy's usually have unlimited. They are totally different animals with different digestive systems and despite what most say, they don't belong with eachother.

  • hi i have a question i have a guinea pig and rabbit my rabbit is potty train but my guninea pig isn't a i've used towel and flease but the next day the cage was really smelly. so ive gone back to sawdust but that gets messy beacuse my rabbit flecks it every where. does your cage start to smelly the next day and if not what do you do. wb plz.!!!!! o i love your c&c cage and piggy's

  • what is the thing that you use to connect the panels together called?

  • i love the purple grids!

  • wheer did u get that cage

  • have your guinea pigs ever got out since you use one grid for the sides?

  • i think there is 15 but idk i BETTER check tomorrow!

  • i am getting my c&c tomorrow from walmart and when i read the plactis wrap stuff it said 3 SETS and i want to have a pretty big cage but i dont know how many grids there are i think there is 12 or someting

  • People, if you want to know more about C&C cages, there is a whole website and forum about them! guineapigcages (dot) (com)

  • my friends guinea pig is named tinkerbell, too!!!!

  • where your guinea pigs born together or did you get them all at once or what bcuz i want too get another guinea pig but i dont know if i can because i dont want them fighting

  • you shouldnt introduce one guinea pig to another. that causes fighting more often. you need to get them together at birth

  • @89longhorns fuck and suck my dick

  • i have one guinea, and i want another. i am going tp buy a C&C cage first. what you could do, is once you have made a C&C cage, divide it in half. dont cut the cloroplast, just put the grids down the middle. That way, they each have their own space, and they can still interact with each other, but cant physically fight. once they get to know each other, take off the divider :). Guinea pigs fight for dominance, and if you get a new cage aswell as a new piggie, neither of them will be dominant :)

  • What you say here is on key. I did when i had two piggies. But you forgot the most important thing!!! Quarantine!!! Before you introduce the new piggie to the other piggie you have to quarantine, to make sure that new piggie is not sick. Quarantine the new pig away from the others for three weeks min. If you adopt, the pig will be healthy. I still would quarantine tho. If you get one from a pet store, the chances are high that it could be sick. :( I would highly think about adopting. :)

  • yeah , thanks for the advice! :) i finally found C&C in the U.K :')......i am thinking about going to an animal shelter, is that classed as adopting?? xx

  • Yes it is! That what i did with one of my girls. The two gray ones, i got from my aunt. And the last one i got at i pet store. Not the best idea,I know. But In my defense she just called to me. Even tho i knew better. :)

  • aha, well i was looking at sanctuaries near me and it says they have to do home checks ....im nnot very comforta\ble with them coming in my house :S do you know if thats just for dogs and cats? also, when i went to get my guinea pig, there was one that looked like elvis presley, and my lil bro wanted to get him so we could call him elvis, but he was old and on his own so i thought he must have been ill or something. i chose my guinea because he seemed like the dominant one of the bunch :) xx

  • The place i adopted jazz was a humane society. They didn't do home checks so I'm not sure. I'm not to fond of the idea , but they just want to make sure that the animal is going to a good home. :) But i would think if they see that you have the recommended cage size for two piggies, food, hay, an area where they can have floortime and that you can care for them. That shouldn't be a problem. His owners probably couldn't care for him anymore. Its sad how many end up at pet store. so sad

  • I'm from the UK and finding it hard to find Coroplast and cubes, can you help me?

I live in the South West btw.

  • ofcourse! type into ebay, mesh grid and its the 1st item up! 15 pounds for 16 grids! you can buy coroplast from B+Q for about 7 pounds its called correx or corofyl. or so im told :) its in the building yard area :) x

  • Thanks! How many cubes did you use because I love you're cage design! Also what size coroplast did you use? :)

  • oh, this isnt my cage :) x

  • I LOVE YOUR CAGE OMG

  • how did you make the ramp

  • omg! i luv this cage! it so awesome!

  • srry just noticed i used caps lol

  • can a ferret use this cage?

  • Hey! Can you make a video response on how to build this? Thanks!

  • heey! how did you clean it???!

  • how many pigs do you have in there. i have a 2 by 4 grid cage for four and they are happy with it. this is just nuts

  • They probably aren't happy with it, you don't know how they would even react to the right amount of space. You technically have them now each in a 1x2... Is that really enough?

  • send me a message how much was it to build this

  • this is guinea pig heaven :)

  • nice--- where do u keep it?

  • Would they be able to escape out, likr, cause theres no roof?

  • no cuz they cant get up tht high

  • awsome

  • do ure guinea pigs use the top section?

  • what is the ramp made of?

  • The ramp is made of storage cubes.

  • thats a nice cage for a home built.

  • THATS AWESOME AND HUGE

  • dont they escape???

  • how you make a ramp?

  • no they are not fleas

  • i love ure guinea pig house its cool! i wish i had a guinea pig! :)

  • What is that nice cage floor? Where can I get something like that for my cage floor.

  • how can i remove fly in my guinea pigs cages? i think they are flys they are small little black dots wat are they?

  • Fleas

  • wher can u get the coroplast???? i feel bad cuz i think my guinea pigs cage is too small to fit more than one toy in it and him to have room to exercise!! ill buy oonline even!!!!

  • SWEET CAGE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Where do you get the coroplast? do you get it at Home Depot, Lowes, or any sign shop?

    thanks

    :)

  • you can go to any sign shop and they should have it. some places only have certain colors though

  • i might be getting my guinea pigs in august!!!!! i hope my mom says YES!

  • They're very lucky guinea pigs!

  • Re they hard to build? And how long do they take to build?

  • nope, i have 2 2x5's and they took about 2-3 hourrs each.

  • Your Cage?!?! do you sleep in there? I'm kidding but plz say it corrcetly!!! lot's of people say that!

  • Good gracious. Don't correct her over something so silly.

  • go fuck yourself

  • I like it! I don't envy you on cleaning day however :)

  • How do you put the grids up stairs becuz im having a hard time putting them up there?

  • Hi! What exactly is the bedding you use? How do you clean it? ha ha I'm looking for something easier for my piggies

  • i'm pretty sure that it is fleece. it is really easy to clean (better than bedding). c&c cages are so much easier than a small store-bought one. plus, they like it a lot better :)
