There was a blindspot on the trail and when we met it sent the two of us bolting in separate directions. It was crazy how big bears are face to face, I've made peace with bears since then because I am thankful I'm still alive.

im sorry that was no warning shot. as fast as that bear was moving that guy had time enough for one sure shot and he knew it. he shot that animal and at that moment the bear felt the big pain that the tiny creatures could conjure at will, and backed off.

Wow what I see here is a bunch of tree huggers commenting on something they have clue about. If you watched the hunting channel you would know they were not after bears and were only floating down the river.
