@HawaiinStrength26 Theres really nothing to be scared of. Its a ride. Rides are fun. All you have to do is sit there for like 2 minutes and then its over. You get your picture as proof you went on, then you never have to ride it again. But trust me, you will want to ride it again. Its the best ride there!

@HawaiinStrength26 yeah im having the same problem! two people told me to close your eyes on the loop, so i guess that might help. also, people keep telling me you wont regret it. try holding your breath on the launch. thats what im gonna do. hope this helps

@HawaiinStrength26 Late response, but trust me, you will not regret going on this ride! It's the smoothest roller coaster you will ever ride. During the launch, you just feel like you're being pushed back into your seat, and it goes by so quickly that you don't even realize the speed. I will warn you that the loop is bumpy, but it's over quickly too. I was terrified to go on it as well, but after it was over, I wanted to go again! It's so awesome, you'll love it. :)

I have a question for you Screamers. The last two times I've been to DCA, I've wimped out of riding this. I'm not afraid of the loops or anything, just the stupid launch.

I rode Rock'N Rollercoaster at WDW and HATED the launch, but I've hear the one on Screamin' is milder. Help please? I really want to know how bad it is so maybe I'll ride it next time.

@xoRosettaox This one is milder because it doesn't send you straight into an upside-down twisty-turn thing. Screamin' gets you prepared for the loop by giving you some hills and turns first. It's a great ride, you should definitely go on it!

@megamanex8thnx dude. i just used my digital camera which is about the size of a deck of cards so it was very easy to hold an keep still while riding plus using the bar in front of me to keep it in place

tips for anyone who is nervous about riding this for the first time (i went on it for the 1st time just a few days ago; also my first loop):

1)head back, blast off is fast

2)hate drops? close your eyes

3) really uncomfortable? focus on music it REALLY helps!

4) you dont really notice the loop, you feel a warm sensation in your chest

5) open your eyes if you kept them closed after the last loop. smile at the end (pictures! *i looked knocked unconsious i space mountain)

@metaldude1359 same here I went with my friend and I'm a loud screamer and I was about to sit nxt 2 an old guy and I didnt want 2 make him more deaf than he already was so I sat at the end and I swear I thought I was gonna fall out and I almost did:s(my seat belt was tightnening and the ride started before I could ask the woman:s) but jus take my advice(don't sit on the end)
