@cookiiejar3021 If you knew anything at all about dementia, you'd pipe down. My grandma has Alzheimer's. When talking with you, she won't remember what you said minutes ago. However, ask her where's the plaque she earned working for a middleschool for a job well done, she'll remember exactly where she's keeping it, drawer and everything. In Alzheimer's cases, atleast, the memories that are more vivid in the patient are the farther ones. Maybe that's the case. It's a memory he cherished fondly.
