Dieses Jahr wollte ich auch den Highgate Cemetery besuchen. Den alten Teil kann man ja leider nicht besichtigen :( außer mit einer Führung der Friends of Highgate, aber wie kommt man an die ran???? Der neue Teil hatte auch schon geschlossen und die Uhrzeit wo ich dort war -.-

Wunderschönes Video mit passender Musik unterlegt.Bei jeder Londonvisite ist immer ein Tag nur für High Gate Cemetery reserviert.Ein traumhaft schöner Ort zum Besinnen.

The fox is hidden by the leaves.. Was quiet scary.. He starred at us for a long time.... until WE "ran" away.. ;)

Highgate Cemetary is a hidden away gem of London, if you love Gothic Architecture then it doesn't get any better than Highgate. Just a few shot steps from Archway tube station.

I loved this place both east and west. I thought that the Karl Marx bust looked like Santa. The East is very beautiful even though it is overgrown with ivy; that justs makes it more picturesque! Thanks for posting - good job!

It's such a pity that many parts of the cemetry has been damaged. My ex-husband tried to take me up there during the day, but I declined and anyway he couldn't find it. Just as well, if the legend of a so called vampire exists still, then I dont' want to be anywhere near this place especially in the pitch black.

u should try it on a dark misty night, its even worse. Fleet Street is also scary to at night time.
