Nope, this video doesnt work, the product key works great though, just the downloads are bs. They dont extract on macs or pc, I tried it on both, and if you dont get the iso, you cant install it. But if you get a different iso file for vista (i did) the product key works.

no. you should have the iso on a folder all the 25 files made (download Iarchiver not The Unirchiver cuz it didnt wor for me, then open 1 of the 25 files you downloaded with Iarchiver and voila it will create a new folder with the iso in it then just start VMware and select it :D

btw save the 25 files on ur mac desktop NOT IN A FOLDER

i tried installing the vista from your mediafire page but after unarchiving it, the file size read zero kb. so far the vmware fusion works good. im gonna try downloading a torrent of vista and using that. thanks man!

The negative side of his video is that he did not use a legal copy of Windows Ultimate after he installed VMware. If you plan on using apple's care plan when you have a problem with your Mac and go to the apple store and they see that you have an illegal copy then you could get into trouble. However, I'm not sure how they would figure that out.

I dont know if im stating the obvious but when you download the torrent file it is a .txt file. just delete the .txt so .torrent is left and then it will work

I downloaded a Windows Vista Ultimate ISO a while ago that had the EXACT SAME number at the end of the file name before the extension as the ISO download you have from the link. Does that mean I already downloaded the file that is in the link just from a different location?

super drive? well i checked into that and found out my drive is capable of burning dvds. but its okay now since i installed vista ultimate with a image file instead, and it works. there's another problem though, i cant play music using vista, in fact, i hear no sound not even from youtube vids or any other thing, the audio is not muted and my shared files between mac and vista are enabled. do you know why that is? it was working fine before but now it doesn't.

unarchived it in the unarchiver when i went to the folder it had zero bytes on it and toast titanium didnt recognize i and vmware coundnt install it .....

every file is the right size and the extensions are right what do i do?

make sure every single file is 98mb but the last one and that they all end up in .zip.00* ...usually when you download all 25 files, for some reason, the first file ends up being .zip.001.zip so you have to remove the last .zip to make it look like this .zip.001 ...then try again

first check all the settings in vista like the control panel and everything, and then, if it doesn't work, try finding the button on the bottom right that looks like a speaker(not in windows, in vmware fusion) and right click and check the settings
