Still I would find it a nice experiment to have the top level pilots competing one day with their high-tech devices installed out of sight and hearing. This way, while the pilots need to fly by their own feelings and observations, judging the flights would remain easy . i'm convinced that the present day top pilots again would be on top of the ranking!
id, kill that noise maker in about 30 mins....as in, drop it off for good.... im very old school, as in "flying by the seat of your (my) pants"
would like to see a' comp.' without computers on the bar, and only between the ears someday. remember about 1979 when someone had >1,000 transistors mounted on their bar to" help" them out, and i told em to "tune in by turning that off" and they had no idea what i meant. Remember (1965)opening up my new transistor radio and counting the "7 transistors"
