Those polls are self-selected: Those who choose to participate in them are counted. All they demonstrate is the motivation of supporters, not the extent of support for a given candidate. Real polling begins by randomly selecting from a given population (in this case, likely Republican primary voters).
Randomly selecting past Republican primary voters in NO WAY shows the support that Ron Paul actually has since hardly any of his supporters have voted in republican primaries in the past.
If you don't see the pro-neocon bias in that then there is a problem.
He wouldn't show up in some polls, especially the polls that the old media likes to cite, because they are polling republicans that have voted in past primaries.
I would be willing to bet that around 5% or less of Ron Paul supporters have voted n past republican primaries.

I think you need to look at the actual polling - you know, scientific statistical analysis - which has been done. At his best, Paul is in the middle of the pack for likely primary voters. I have seen TPM post on Ron Paul before on their site. Just because they don't do it every day makes no difference. They cover an extremely broad topic of issues and candidates.

We are not complaing that youtube videos of Paul are not shown or websites don't discuss him. We are saying that in every Tpmtv he has never been mentioned. Even thought he has raised the most money and polls higher than Mccain, Thompson, Hucabee and gets no mention. He wins several polls including completly dominating a recent Zogby poll

Paul has won close to half of the straw polls in this nation. He is doing fantastic in fundraising, and truly appeals to many traditional conservatives..those who supported Reagan.

Listen, I am as open minded as the next guy, but I never here Paul talk about evening the score for 9/11 and what really bothers me is his total disinterest in the role General Petraeus plays in straightening out our foreign policy mess.

Ron paul did NOT support nation building in Afganistan or Iraq.
Why did we just stop going after Binladen and invade Iraq?
If Ron Paul had been president he would have had Binladens head on pike within 3 weeks and it would have only cost us 2 million dollars, gasoline would be $1.35 a gallon,
Petraeus will retire one day and be able to tell us all the truth...

I think you need to look at the actual polling - you know, scientific statistical analysis - which has been done. At his best, Paul is in the middle of the pack for likely primary voters. I know lots of people are passionate about him. Lots of people were passionate about Eugene McCarthy, John Anderson, and Ross Perot, too.

Ron Paul seems like a good enough guy, but this country isn't going to hand the reigns over to anybody who even remotely smells like a neo-con. Paul still has a bit of taint about him.

Don't get me wrong, I like Kucinich, he's honest. I just can't see RP abandoning his principles, he never has. I know RP respects him but they are at opposite ends of the philisophical spectrum.

Yes, I completely agree with you. They are diabolically opposed to one another's principle. But these two men are the only honest, principled candidates available. I would pick these qualities over corporate sponsored money loving corrupted thugs any day. By the way, I am not American. I am just interested in American politics.
